I'd like to see the ground textures in much of SL animated. By animated I mean that slowly over time they change to reflect the change in seasons. Some examples of what I would like to see...

I wholeheartedly endorse this idea, if possible.

Techzen, you definitely DO NOT suck at the forums.

I fell in a pothole on my street and couldn't get out.

The new roads seem to be much better driveable than the old ones... but it may be due to less lag in new sims anyway...

i'm told that the lowest texture in the core sims is supposed to look like dirt not sand. well okay it does look like dirt so it's wonderfully made. in fact, it looks quite nice underwater. water level is at twenty meters i believe.

so is it okay if we just ask that the dirt texture be set for zero to twenty-one meters and grass be set for greater than twenty-one to whatever the mountain texure is?

also, i believe these same textures are used in the southern sims but i didn't include them in the poll. y'all feel free to vote though.

I do not want my land tex changed by the lindens em masse NO!

If i am given options to change myself thats great but i have worked hard on my land to flow things to suit and changing the land en masse would ruin much of my artful work

I would also liek to see the dirt layer lowered in Argent and i have played with some of the "newer" sim textures and i wish i had them there in Argent. Maybe i should call my Concierge :D

i would absolutely LOVE to be able to edit Ryan and Ben Linden's objects in the city. There are so many missing pieces of infrastructure now i cant even fit all my pictures of them in my textures folder without crashing hte Asset server. Seriously though...there are now missing pieces of bridges, missing lamp posts...and to top it off the terraforming in the norhtern sections of hte sims dropped off like 30M on Gov lindens land and in other spots its now bubbling over the concrete.

I am so serious in the fact that i would love to redo the city infrastructure. I am an anal builder who builds by the numbers and am sure that if i were to petition the other city owners we could at least settle on the fact that the city infrastructure is indeed needing major attention. If LL doesnt have the manpower, give me edit to the objects for a day and I will fix it all. I promise :D
