Do you mean there are less clubs?

That less people are going to the same amount of clubs there ever was?

That the music is louder?

And in any case, are you positive it has anything to do with the new economy? Sure people aren't just bored to tears of the same crap?

If your answer is that less people are going to the same amount of clubs, have all the clubs changed in response to the economy? are they all charging fees that people are not willing or cant afford to pay already? if so, there may be some truth to your statement.

If not, how do you attribute it to the economic changes?

The clubs are closing because the clubs were shite. I mean, all those big grey boxes playing the same hackneyed old "Hits FM" stream - it was like a virtual Huddersfield!
