I got the opportunity to hear Devyn play a live show on his bozuki(sp?) in my living room... and it rocked!

Also (and i'm not being biast - countless people can back me up here) Torrid is an extremely talented vocalist (in the style of Slayer).

Kidding about the slayer comment :)

As for me: Guitar, trumpet, sax, french horn, piano, VALVED-trombone (yeah yeah..), and the triangle all fluently.

Glad to see these kind of threads out there! Hope to hear some more of these other talents sometime :D

Aw thanks man. :) I really felt like I was off when I played there .. but I'm glad you enjoyed.
Of course I got treated to Water's amazing guitar playing during my visit as well. This man is going to go places, folks... mad skills.

And yes Torrid is an exquisite vocalist, I must back you up there..

Torley, I've setup the stream again, just point your player at (clicking it should also launch it):

http://69.73.141.11:8000/listen.pls

It's on random play so will just keep going through all the 45 or so tracks there.

I've set the stream up for a max of 20 listeners if anybody else is interested in listening in.

Moopf,
I first read this thread about a week ago and have since listened to your music stream quite often, such as right now. ;) It's nice to have playing while reading, as it's very calming and there are virtually no lyrics to distract me from focusing on what's being read. Excellent work!

Hey hey, greets, SL musicians. I have a modest home MIDI studio and have been sequencing tracks on and off since 1996 or so. You can check some of it out in MP3 or OGG format on my music page if you want. Usual disclaimer applies; the earlier stuff isn't necessarily representative, etc.

Was reading the live music thread on forums with interest, I've setup SL Streaming offering streaming relay services for linden dollars. If you don't have the bandwidth to host multiple streams and need a reliable service just drop me an IM.

I've also setup a how to stream music in SL notecard in the store pod if anyone is interesting in getting your music into SL with the minimum of fuss. Alternatively you can read the howto at http://JamieOtis.Com

If anyone is on a mac, I would like to know what software you have found to be best? Audion 3 looks like a nice package, and its now free...

I've been known to tap out a mad whack beat on my legs from time to time.
