Any online world that permits so much excrement, is nothing but an empty shell.

Hear, hear! What we need around here is some censorship. That or zoloft.

While I do try to adhere to the philosophy, "If you don't like it, don't buy it" (with the recent addendum, "download it from the Internet" , there's an article that I've always liked in regards to what I percieve as being Catherin's point -- with no caffine in my veins, I can only guess: "The Cult of 'Turn Off Your Computer' Must Die"

You people suck. Turn off your computer and go for a walk. You're taking this game way too seriously. Losers

Catherine, I have taken two breaks from SL now, for MYSELF. Think of it that way. Don't let a few ppl who think they own the forums simply because they post on nearly every subject and usually for the sake of just being contrary affect you, and your reasoning for your hiatus. You know the types, the ones who will attack grammar when they finally run out of ridiculous witch hunt accusations, play *blame the victim* cards and defend griefer's *rights* under the illusion of free speech, then turn around and try to censor folks who have a problem or issue. The selfsame judges who enter threads and try to dictate what we should or shouldn't be discussing. On that note I have some advice for those folks, it's right along the lines of what Az said above. Skim. Dont feed the compulsion to attack because you dont like a discussion's topic, or you percieve it as whining. Stay out. Really simple.
Great article Jarod. Maybe someday a certain faction of players will get over their personal fears and understand that there are people controlling these computers and that it IS part of real life.

Grr, you are very lucky, Nolan. I couldn't find any spelling or grammatical errors in your post. But then, I only skimmed.

Zoloft is an excellent tool for people who are having problems with depression, distorted priorities and anger management. Good of you to mention it. From: someone Originally posted by Julian Fate Hear, hear! What we need around here is some censorship. That or zoloft.

((((((((Jarod))))))) I live a life where I am constantly on the move. Although I have known most of my rl friends for over 20 years it's rare these days that I see them. I live about as far away from them in the US as is possiable. (no not intentionaly lol) Anyway I am not keen on making new rl friends in my day to day life. Over the last year I have however made some very good friends in SL ppl who I hold dear Hugz Cath
