I am SO fed up with ppl copying shit, I mean COME ON... WTF happened to peoples imaginations, I am not gunna name names in this, but I am getting SO fed up with certain ppl copying EVERY sodding thing that I and my friends try and DO!

Its GAH annoying!

What is it?! I mean do ppl not HAVE imaginations anymore! I do something, they do it, I type something, they type it, My friends wanna do something... OH LOOK THEY DO IT FIRST...

I am at the stage where I am gunna get a suspension soon for kicking some SERIOUS ass... now this is just prolly a MINOR issue to some of you, but I just needed to rant and rave as I have about had it up to HERE with ppl with NO damn imagination they have to copy everything they fooking do off of someone else..

When someone is copying, I don't like it, its un-orginal and frankly just pathetic, and well like I said I am NOT naming names, but I just needed a lil rant, now I feel better...

I just wanted to gather other's views on what they think of people copying their moves, goods, whatever...

Hey now - I thought of this type of rant posting MONTHS ago - you can't just go and copy it all willy-nilly. I must insist that ALL thoughts you have, had, or will have be reviewed and vetted by me to make sure I didn't think it first!

And don't try to get indignant and refuse, I thought of that response first too!

I know it is.. but at least you know your stuff is good. People don't try to imitate crappy products!!

What are they copying dear?

Originality hasnt been a part of Second Life in months, hence the reason why there's 250 semi-identical clubs out there. Once Second Life introduced the SL money for real money system it just slowly degraded into the rutt capitalism is in right now. i.e.: One small company will do something inventive, then the bigger companies will either buy the small one or copy their idea and crush them in marketing.

It's just how Capitalism works, originality isnt profitable.

just consider it flattery. yes! you're great. everyone wants to be like you. not everyone is equally creative, motivated, talented in the same things. some are better at collecting than producing. some are learning. why do people whine about copying so much?

I am not crying out for attention, I am simply stating that I am pissed that someone is copying what I do, and no it isn't an outfit, or a dance, or a prim, its pictures and portraits I do, and take me a lot of sodding time to do, then someone churns out the same bloody thing.

I am shit at making things, I admit I am CRAP, the only thing I am reasonably good at is making potraits in photoshop.

Now I am saying that people are copying what I am creating, by going out and low and behold making exactly the same or damn well near it, and other things that I won't mention in here cos I don't want to get TOO personal.

So before you try and analyze me, get your facts straight huh... I don't cry out for praise, cos I don't want it, I am not here to be worshipped or praised, I am here to simply do what I do... Which now it appears is un-orginal, along with my ranting..

Touchee, but it's more in an individual sense, if you make an original idea and try and market it successfully, you're going to get absorbed or copied and without the financial backing, it's likely you'll fail. But I guess i'm speaking in a small business sense, if you already work for a big company then you'd have no problem.

Thing is I don't even CHARGE for doing potraits, or pics for ppl, hell I ain't that good and I don't wanna profit out of it, and if someone needs a hand, or an idea, or a background for their's I am more than willing to help where I can, it's when they say whaaaa me copy nooooo why do you think that when ... no you know what I ain't even gunna bother
