I've seen both sides of the spectrum, and all kinds of in between. I know couples who met in SL, and it progressed to RL, even to marriage - and has been successful. And I know people who are married in RL, yet maintain an exclusive relationship with someone in SL. Then there are the people for who SL relationships are all a game, just for fun. I think it's just about communication, and being honest about your intentions. I'm so glad for those who have found successful relationships through SL, but I've seen many people hurt by lies and manipulation. I would have to agree with these thoughts as well. Every SL relationships is different, with their own boundaries, or in some cases, the lack thereof. I think whats important is that there is an understanding by both parties, and most importantly, the abiltiy to communicate openly with your partner about your expectations/hopes/needs. |

I would have to agree with these thoughts as well. Every SL relationships is different, with their own boundaries, or in some cases, the lack thereof. I think whats important is that there is an understanding by both parties, and most importantly, the abiltiy to communicate openly with your partner about your expectations/hopes/needs. I will never be able to replace the love I found here in SL which crossed into RL (real life). NEVER! An amazing experiance -- someone that really touched my heart, made me feel alive. A man I fell in love with, gave my heart to, gave my everything to. You asked to be set free so i set you free. fly away.. and hope one day, you return to take me in your arms and love me again. Life is short and precious. I will never hurt you, but show you love forever, beyond death.. You were more then i could have ever possibley imagined. I Love You Linkin Slate .. here and in RL. I can not just turn my love off for you at a drop of a dime, very incrediable that you can do this. I cry and miss you everyday. Your very special to me. And i don't care who see this and thinks i'm crazy for posting my feelings. Cause it hurts.. and i'm hurt. I will never forget all the good times we had. I thank you for that. Lensey |

one of the problems i see is that people see it differently and sometimes are not upfront about it. in which case 100% Disaster +- 3%, 19 times out of 20. _____________________
