In-Game Racisim

Well the initial question is relevant....the actions that took place to bring the question about are just illogical rants from illogical minds....

People yelling racial epithets amongst themselves is not and should not be illegal...deemed moronic yes illegal no. Harrasment of any sort on the other hand is illegal. If you were just walking by and a group of people started following you shouting racial slurs then yes that is illegal...that is harrasment...that is unethical. But people being racist...well those of lesser intelligence need a way to differentiate themselves from other groups and the most obvious way is by color. It is far easier to hate someone based on color than it is to hate based on rational, logical thinking or on an individual basis.

Broad generalization of any sort hold as much water as a cheese cloth mug. And those who make them usually have the IQ of a cheese cloth mug. They never cease to show their true selves and we are better for it. So long as they are loud and obnoxious we know who they are and where they are....it is when they are silent that we need to worry.

For a noob you certainly found the report abuse feature pretty quick. Did you even realize there's a mute feature as well? I suggest you use this next time instead of filing multiple abuse reports. Although I can't condone this behavior.. I can tell you I've heard alot worse than you have and never felt the need to report anyone for comments they've made in world.. nor will I ever. SL is huge now you can always mute someone & go about your business elsewhere if your not paticularily fond of the conversation topic. Also it sounds to me like you were just as bad as the people you reported... you not only provoked them but you even had the audacity to go back for more. In general Jessians don't take kindly to that sort of shit so beware of the consequences.

Flame me if you want I simply don't care. I'm just sick of hearing people whine & cry about things said in world when there are features inplace to prevent you from hearing someone all together.

Mute is crap. You can get around it by messaging the person while they are offline or having and object repeat what you say.

Im assuming the offline thing is a bug they will fix & thats only if you have your offline IM's goin to your email?or no? I dunno just guessin on that one and well you could have an object repeat what you say but most people aren't going to go to that extent just to annoy someone. I really think in this situation specifically & in atleast 95% of cases its used the mute feature does do what its suppose to.

Ha...I have used mute twice ever. That is how I found out about those 2 ways around it. Cause I failed to really "mute" anyone.

You can also mute the object. Almost all the entrys on my mute list are objects.

I've never so much as met you,we are a group of over 60 members too,in beta we had over 130 members,dont even try to tell me you've met the "alot of" that you claim are nazi's.

none of our members are nazi's in any way,we are named the wwIIolers because we come from the online war simulation world war 2 online,and as such most of our members are aswell very much reverent of the sacrifices made in WWII,more so then your average person i would guess as most have a personal interest in the whole subject.

I forgot what the law was called exactly, but what it stated was that, the more heated the debate in a thread, the more likely Hitler is to be brought up.

From what I gather this guy was no saint himself & should have muted them & walked away. Instead he got atleast three people banned & was no doubt provoking them the whole time.

Kano isn't racist, I saw him wearing a shirt that says "I [heart] all races." We chatted alot and he was cool, He gave me a shirt and went on his way. He apparently isn't racist and from what I understand he loves Italians. Ernesto I heard alot of bad stuff about you and alot of bad stuff about Kano. Who knows?

I hate alienwares, dells, gateways, hps, compaqs, and any sort of prebuilt what so ever. I've had to work on one of every type. I found everything from shoddy workmanship, cheap parts, and stupid placement or configuration.
