I have seen this one when travelling from LA to SD a few times. I am always kind of taken aback at how large it is. Quite imposing and looks like it cost a pretty penny to construct. I have some photos I took myself of it somewhere, however a quick search on my drive came up empty. Maybe I will dig for them a bit later on.

As for my random fact; I am eating beef jerky, drinking apple juice and watching The History Channel. Total dork. Worse than Anthony Michael Hall in his youth.

Wow..that is very close! Looks almost just like it. But the one I stare at out my window is in Portland Oregon. If it gets a bit sunnier, I'll take a shot with my cellphone.

This morning I skipped my once a week McDonalds breakfast, and had a cinnamon and raisin bagel with lots of cream cheese, and a small black coffe.

Sheesh... sometimes I wonder what gets into some people? Even animals aren't that vicious to each other.

While I visited the crime library website I poked around and found a blurb about a local case (for me, at least) that's fascinated/horrified me for years. They never caught the bastard* either. I wonder who he was and what the hell was wrong with him that he could do something like that.

Black Dahlia Murder (Warning: somewhat gruesome crime scene photos)

*although its possible he was busted for some other crime. Multiple theories exist about his identity, but it's officially unsolved.

I read a book about the Black Dahlia Murder, written by a woman that claims to be the daughter of the man that did the murder. If the book is true, this girl lead an incredibly horrifying life, and her father had a soul entirely composed of the blackest of evils.

I am sitting here pondering the eternal question... "What in the HELL am I going to fix for dinner?!" I'm also playing with a trial download of Adobe GoLive CS, a web authoring tool that's integrated with Photoshop; I like it but can't decide whether I want to shell out $400 for it or not. (Opinions from anyone who knows anything about GoLive would be appreciated, by the way.)

And David, my sympathy on having to do the I-5 bridge commute every day. My husband took Friday afternoon off so we took the kids to OMSI, and fighting that traffic on the way back over the river just drives me insane.
