The white background is hard to visually focus against with the Sky Blue color...I liked the darker background better.

I still miss ol' offtopic.

Color scheme has better contrast, and doesn't look as "gamey" when I'm browsing at work, um...hypothetically that is.

And I'm glad the user info was moved to the left, it was very distracting to read a conversation the other way.

Yes, I like!! It looks fabulous, and the expanded forum choices are a much-needed addition. I happen to like the lighter background, it's a nice change.

Great job Lindens! So far, I really like the new layout and structure overall.

My only quibble is that the color scheme is a bit bright for my tastes.. but I suppose that's one case where its impossible to please everyone. It is quite readable - just that the bright white is kinda hard on the eyes. Perhaps sometime in the future it will be possible for each of us to select a our own color scheme.

I like it! It goes much better with the new SL color scheme also.

I would also however like to be able to chose your own color schemes.

Graphics look better than before too.

I like it more than the old one... I wish the background blue (like a sky blue) in this box I am typing in now was not so dark against the dark blue for the font.

Isn't there a way to use a simple theme selector for customizability? I.e. for those who preferred the old one and such.

It is cool that you can collapse catagories! There is a little button to the far right of the categories on the main page (like Discussion for example) that when you click it shrinks that whole category. Goes a long way to making the forum seem less cluttered when I can hide the forums I'm not really interested in.

Yeah me too - somewhere between 200 - 300. I'm guessing those are the posts that didn't make the cut.

From the little I have the time to look at this morning, it seems quite pretty to me I'm not exactly keen on the white background, as it's hard on my poor little sensitive eyes when they're tired, but otherwise it matches the color scheme very well anyway, and it makes the forums appear somewhat less cluttered. This style is nice indeed.

And the poster area is again on the let... whee!

Yeah, nice upgrades. /agree on the background though... could be tan instead to be easier on the eyes, and still not look "gamey".

Thanks LL for listening to suggestions. I see some of them implemented. (OT forum, etc)

Yeah, Lindens, for the love of god could you make the background a tad darker, I have to turn my brightness all the way down when trolling the forums.
