No, I have three cars and two houses; I have no problem with using more than my fair share, but I could do with less easily and so could most of us. I see a lot of people just being purely wasteful all the time and it is just WRONG. I'm just saying we all bear a collective responsibility for the actions of our government and military, since they, so to speak, is us. And if you thought you were being clever by voting for Nader, the last election, well, you have no right to bitch. At all.

Ummm when did I say I voted for Nader?

I would never vote Green party, I think thats pretty clear from my stances, also if I were Green, I wouldn't vote for such a hypocrite, at least I'd vote for someone that actually stood for what he claimed to believe in

Ummm, when did I say I was speaking just to you? I don't go ad hominem on people I don't know. Well, not usually. Since I have never seen you in SL that isn't too likely at all, anyway. Not that I voted myself, in any case - I was stuck on 95 that day - or that I would ever have supported Gore, myself (I could very easily have voted for Lieberman though, before seeing just what a whining shit he has turned into, lately) - I was meditating specifically about my sister, in fact, and all of the people like her who thought they would punish Al Gore for being a dull jackass by voting for Ralph Nader. They now seem to think they have a duty to complain about our President, even though they did, in fact help elect him. If I had to guess, I wouldn't classify you as a typical Green voter at all. Not unless I saw you burn an SUV or something.

didn't mean to jump on you, but when you are replying to someone usually if you say something like that it is assumed you meant them...

Yes we did like those Nader voters :)

But I'm actually considering abandoning the GOP for the constitution party. I agree with 90% of its platform and the GOP has proven it is not committed to reducing Government Size

As someone who works in the administration, we don't need to decrease the size of the government, so much as increase its efficiency. Some of the laziest bastards you will ever find work for the government, but they dont work very much. Some agencies, like the FDA, for instance, if you fired, or in a perfect world, shot, most of the administrators and bureaucrats, and replaced them with more field inspectors, the department would run a lot more efficiently.

There are many field in which the government has no constitutional basis to stick its nose in which it does, plus as you say it is very inefficient, if you had efficiency I garuntee you could do with half your workers in any gov. agency.

Though what I meant more of was that the gov overspends on many things it should not even put money in... I don't really feel like putting it all out here, but check out the constitution parties website sometimes and read the platform, on a few issues i think they go too far but mostly they are right on.

oh ya,you can say that again, the government atm is the most inefficient thing in the country next to unions (in certain fields of work atleast).

the government should have half the staff it has now.

some things could be commercialized, some stuff doesnt need to be there in the first place, and with a bit of efficiency you could probably cut staff in the needed organizations by alot.
