RL FIC Conference in Philly This Weekend!

I am willing to pay for those. I cant ever seem to get one without a boob or a beer in it.

Quick update -- I arrived safely, got to meet Higbee, who I kept calling 'Hiro' all night for some goddamn reason, and met Jennyfur and Flipper. Very cool. Also some friends of thiers last night at a party we went to -- all in all, good food, good booze, good times.

Looking forward to repeating the whole process with 300+ people in the crowd at the 'Human BBQ' party tonight.

We discussed official FIC business, which revolved around just how much we could drink, and the impromptu designing of the FIC logo, which I hope Flipper will share at some point when he gets his drunken ass up and scans it in.

Note to self: Good call sleeping near the laptop, now I can post and SL at ANY HOUR OF THE DAY.

well, i just noticed this thread this morning and all i can say is.. ARGH!

i wouldn't have been able to make it anyway, but i sure would like to have been there for this party. with this in mind, i'll certainly consider reorganizing my daily grind to be able to attend the D.C. meeting.. assuming there is one.

i'm sure you guys are having/will have a great time. i'd say to add some inebriation on my behalf, but it might be too much when added on top of anyone's personal inebriation as well.. heheh.

I'm awake and I think I'm still drunk. Its almost 1pm. We're an hour past our target start drinking date. Off to the shower! Please excuse any typing I did in #secondlife last night! I was getting bored of sentences halfway through typing 'em.

how late are you guys planning on partying tonight? this whole "bunch o' bands" thing goes until when?

perhaps if you guys are out late enough, i might be able to make it..

however, it's only a slim possibility even at that. my girlfriend is working a 16hr shift today and won't be out until 10p. not sure if she'll be in the mood to travel across Jersey to Philly and then to party with you guys until the wee hours of the morning.. heheh.

anyhoo, if you can give me an idea of how long the band thing is, then i can figure out if it's even possible or not.

so, is anyone that's at the Pi Lam Human BBQ checking the forums? can you let us know if you're all planning on staying there until the last band goes on (the one at 3am)?

i'm still considering showing up.. granted i'd have to catch up to everyone there.. but i shouldn't have much trouble doing that.

so yeah, someone who's there.. i hope you guys read this and check in sometime so i can decide whether to come over there or not.

We had a blast... Flip, Jenny, Higs, and Maxx are great folks... even my RL gf had fun despite the "uber geeked out" factor. I'm reviewing pics and cleaning up redeye and such ... should have at least a couple that are showable
