The Matrix Online is currently in a beta 'stress test" . They are not allowing anyone else to be a stress tester. In early February they were giving away beta keys at MMORPG only for couple of days. The game will go gold in April...

Eh, I don't find those games particularly interesting. They tend to get on the dull side after awhile. To me, they all have a been there done that feel. Although yes it's a good distraction for someone distressed with SL. I wouldn't call it a permanent place to be.

I am enjoying it. I am almost at level 8 and like where it is going. I even teamed up with someone for a while, which in most games I hate doing. It was the only way not to get my ass kicked on a couple of missions and was fun.
I keep hitting beta bugs, like having to run The Bag Lady's "Tiny Baubles" mission four times before the game would either show me all the objectives or open certain doors.
And the Furies gang is pissing me off. All the other gangs so far are pussies, except those guys. I can barely take on one and when they mob me, I am through. Hyperspeed running through their "dens" is the best way to get through them without dying.
It seems a lot like anarchy online with all human opponents and much less running. It certainly isn't SL, and when I want a taste of the real matrix, I will come here. But for some ass-kicking violence, I think MxO is pretty sweet.
I am going to get my pre-order box today.
