Perhaps you should stop and take a few breaths, since you didnt seem to notice that I never wrote that big long paragraph, that was Christiano. I simply gave a quote that I thought was a good summary of it. So dont be arguing the points he made to me. And as far as i'm concerned I never said anything bad about you. I criticised a few things I didnt like about your club, and now that you're on the full offense against me, I need to defend myself. Besides that, i've said nothing against you.

And your plight to make the best club is admirable, but you're not the one to decide if it's going to be the "best adult clubs", it's going to be the customers that make that, and if you treat every customer suggestions and criticisms like you did mine, that you're going to have unhappy people. I wish you the best of luck, but if you want to make the best club ever, a good idea is to listen to suggestions, since just because your club is huge and loud doesnt mean it's going to be the best.

Good luck trying to reason with him - his forum posts are indicative of the exact kind of response you get when you try to talk about anything. I would have no problem with the club, BigJohn, or anything else, if this had all played out differently. I went to him in good faith after weeks of enduring the same song without saying a word, and was blasted by him. Others have been as well. I am sure he is not a bad person, but he is certainly a bad neighbor and hard to deal with. Sorry you got blasted for my post

Ok this has gone way to far, you people have no life. I usually stay out of everyone's business here, and keep to myself. But this has gotten to the point where I am going to speak, a few of you who are complaining about Club Elite are my friends, and i'm sorry if you don't like what I am about to say.
Like real world noone likes for a club of that size and that nature to move near them so of course you will have the complaints. I understand them, however, knowing the club owners personally, they are awesome people and have been working really hard to get the club ready to open. it has to go somewhere.
But for you to totally trash the reputation of the members and the owners is so wrong and thats why i'm saying my piece. To be upset that a club is near you is one thing but to down the owners, members and dancers is another.
Let me first say that the part about no training is bullcrap, the club isn't open yet and the dancers are in training as we speak, as a matter of fact, I have been training for 3 weeks to be the best dancer in sl, along with making costumes to go with it. If you doubt that and don't come to watch, then it's your loss. Second the part about being banned is not true why do you lie to people, I am very liked and well known now and have never been banned for being an Elite dancer, so you guys it's all bull crap
However I wish to thank all of the people who are talking about Club Elite, because in my experience in real world advertising, it's the bad press that gets the best response. Bleh.. Well, I was polite in my post. And I do stand by my post. I even said BigJohn that you and I were on neutral terms and that I love most all of the dancers I have met from Club Elite. I was warning a new user based on FACTS, not rumors.

I know for a fact that members of club elite are banned from at least one (and I've heard there are others) big land areas where some very popular events are held on an almost daily basis. I learned about this due to a friend accepting an invite to Club Elite to be polite (and because you guys were my neighbors). Then when he tried to go to an event, he found he could not get into the land.

I knew this was a great person, and was shocked to find they were banned. After speaking to the owner, I learned that the owner had been advised to ban all members of the club due to the awful actions of some of the members. That way the owner would not have to deal with either backlash or possible future problems with this group/club.

As far as the things Cris has stated, yes, BigJ you do seem to have a callous attitude as far as saying "I can do whatever I want, go **** yourself". And now I realize that Tanya has that attitude as well. I tend to just let that slide and get over it and remain neutral with you guys.

However, like I said, the Club *does* have a bad rep and not just in Federal. I hear this from people that live across the map from Federal as well. And apparently it is because of the actions of some of the club members. And people generally tend to think that if a few are like that from a group, then maybe the others are too. It becomes a vicious circle.

Anyway, I was not bashing you guys, I was simply stating the facts as I know them. I can't do more or less than that. To me, this is not about land, and it is actually not even something personal with me (though yes I have had some problems with the club in the past, but I have always kept those to myself).

I do think the most important lesson the original poster needs to learn from all this is that researching a group before joining is *always* the best option. Learn both sides of the story, get to know the people, and decide for yourself.

Do you go around messing with everyone whose music you hear? Or do you just choose to mess with BigJohn because you have something against him? "Personally"...

My personal problem with him came much after this and has nothing to do with the club or music - and again it was about the nauseating repetition of it, nothing else.

Oh. One other thing I would like to add. Personally I love the thought of having a big dancers club right next to my place. I think the two places can compliment each other well. So don't think for a second that this has to do with the type of establishment, or even how large it is (though I would prefer to never have the two buildings actually touching, but that isn't going to happen so I'm fine with the size now).

If as neighbors we can compromise from time to time, then personally I see no reason we can't make that corner of Federal a great place. And I'm not sure who exactly it is that has gotten the bad rap for the club (other than I know BigJ has been named before), perhaps it would be good to flush out who some of these "bad apples" are so they don't give that bad rep to the rest of the dancers who *are* great people.

Well... you don't know me... how can you tell what kind of attitude that I have, just because I am responding to something that in my opinion is rubbish? I do not have an attitude, I am just being me, giving my opinion, the same way you and others are giving theirs...

Question? what would you say, if people were talking bout you on forums you knew nothing about? Would you just ignore them, or would you say your piece? And if that is considered having an "Attitude"...then I guess all of us on this thing has "Attitudes"...

I can tell what kind of attitude you have Tayna when you state things like "we can do what we want", "you can go somewhere else", etc. and so on. One of the great things I loved about the TOS of SL is that it covers the fact that basically neighbors do have to compromise from time to time and that No, you cannot just do anything you want if you are doing something that infringes on the gameplay of neighbors in the game.

I'm just a person of compromise. And I feel that is something that is hard to accomplish when one person's approach seems to be "I can do whatever I want". That is what I meant about "your attitude". Yes, "attitude" and "opinion" can often be the same thing.

Again, I was not bashing you guys, I was only passing along information as I knew it. I'm staying civil in this thread, and I'm not harboring ill on any of you. I also yes, believe you have every right to repond and join in the discussion. This is a discussion board after all, and everyone has a right to post.

I agree with you here Pendari... I have been to your store... bought a bunch of things... and had no problems with you, I never knew that you guys talked about the club here... just suprised me I guess... it doesn't really matter... what matters is... that this thing that people are saying bout "Club Elite" members... well, I never heard any of it... I don't know what memebers reputations you are talking bout... and I don't know who was banned from what and why... this is my first time ever hearing bout it... If you were to maybe enlighten us on these members... and if these members do have a reputation, maybe something can be done about it... But, to believe rumors? that isn't something that I can do... People will say anything about you... whether you are doing good, or whether you are doing bad.... Rumors are just that..."Rumors"... nothing can come from it... if people would just stop believing everything that people say... and if they want answers... and are curious to know... then come to the source... or shall I say topic of the rumors...
So, as far as the bad reputation, I don't know anything about it... and for those people out there that are spreading these rumors... "can't you all just get a life"... I don't understand this... People just play your game...

P.S... One thing this started out talking about me, BigJohn Jade, not just members and stuff it was all point to me. Yes I am from north side of St. Louis mo and I do got a thing about someone trying to tell me how i can live on my land and stuff. Would you go to someone house and say hey I hate this about your house you got to change it or hay I hate your music got to change it? Or hey I just don't like you? Or what would you do if someone came to you with all this?

I wouldnt go to someones house and do it, and nor should someone want to criticise the decorations of their house. After all it's their house, and they can do what they want with it since they're the ones who're going to have to deal with it. But last time I checked, Club Elite isnt the private residence of BigJohn and Tanya, instead of a place of business.

So he shouldnt take so much offense from me giving suggestions to a place that's going to be open to the public, and then attack me, saying my suggestions was me "talking shit" about him and his club. I have yet to ever insult BigJohn or you, and yet he has insulted me quite a few times. I think he should stop and realize that he's not being attacked, so he should stop being on the offense.

Unfortunatly, only BigJ's name has ever been dropped as far as an actual name, and then a few dancers have been mentioned but I did not catch their names at the time. I will be happy to try and find this information out if I can. Like I said, I really do like all the dancers I have met from the club, so I probably have not ever seen these dancers being refered to are. That leads me to believe they may be some of your least active members? It is a thought.

Anyway, I will try to find out what I can and let you know what I find out. I may need to protect names of people I talk to, but I will try to get as much detail as possible so that it can be decided if it is just rumor, heresay, or truth.

You can be from the north side of St. Louis, the south side of Chicago, the dark side of the moon - it does not matter, you can still have consideration for the people around you. I would not come into your house and tell you what music to play -but if I lived next to you and you played the music so loud that I had to listen to it as well, I would certainly say something. I have never said I don't like you, I have never even said I did not like BigJohn, I certainly don't like being told to fuck off when I approach someone in good faith. Perhaps it is how people act where you are from, I do not know - I was raised to have consideration for the people around me and treat them with respect.

Well, I went to verify the rumours and found two of them to be true:

1.) The Elite Dancer building has annoyed some of the people in Federal, forcing them to send in complaints or move out.

2.) BigJohn is offensive, stubbern, and a jerk to those of differing opinions. I hadnt believed it until he started talking here now, and attacking anyone that opposed him.

So yes, dont believe the rumours, believe the FACTS.

A game indeed, but a game with humans in it interacting with each other. And if you think that you can have a bunch of people together and not have fights or arguements, well then you're living in a dreamworld.

And essentially the problem BigJade has caused is that he's impeded the ability for others to have fun by his club. Now dont attack me for that, but when others are complaining about various things about it, well that's the proverbial swinging the fist a bit too far.

Not sure why he suddenly appeared in the middle of your post, but regardless, the point is that it doesn't matter where you are from, you can still treat people with respect.

At least from my end, none of this has been directed at you Tanya - I have never even had much interaction with you, and the interaction that I have has been cool. Please don't take any of what I have said as directed at you - it is directed at John.

Know what Cristiano so tired of your sh** man I never did anything to you and yes where I come from ppl don't go telling other ppl how to live. You don't go on a man's land telling him what he can do and not to do. I know this is just a game but it is my land and I am sorry you too much in this high class type of a person for our type of a club. You live in adult sim not pg my friend. Time that we got into it over songs was when I first started out and I was trying to make something and had to test it and song play over few times. But you made it sound like a week when it was 2 days and not all the time on top of that. So we talk that out and everything was cool but now all you do is talk this bull shit about the club and taking about me and so on. The point is only small group of you ppl like 3 or 4 that don't want us there? So you come here trying to make us look bad and talk all this stuff about ppl. Yes I love music and I love to hear it and I will listen to my music when I feel like it and SL has options that lets you turn music down now so what is big deal of that? Know what? I am done with all this stuff and just want you ppl stay away from me and mind your own. I don't go talking sh** about anyone all i do is try to be cool with everyone. First of all, to Tanya. As Cris stated, this honestly was not against you. And again my part was just to alert a person looking for a dance group that there had been some bad things being stated about the Elite Dancers group of people, and the only reason I mentioned it was so that she could check it out for herself.

If you guys are working on a new club, then hopefully like you stated, the bad rep from the old may not seep into the new. Again, I have yet to meet a dancer from the group that I didn't like. I don't know where exactly the bad rap came from, I just know it exists as I hear with my own eyes people talking about. And no, not just Cristiano or others who live or have lived in Federal.

This was never supposed to be a bash on you guys, just a warning to a new person or any person when they are considering joining a group. BigJ *is* harsh as a person. I have always gotten along fine with you BigJ *despite* this. It is NOT a quality of yours that I like, nor will I defend your actions to others. However, I choose who I will and will not associate with, and I have found nice neutral ground with you personally, and I think we have always been fine because of it.

Feliciaa, it is always possible that the ban has been lifted since the episode that I mentioned took place. It is also possible that with the name change of the group, that you may be wearing the new club title and therefore not being affected. I took care not to mention the name of the owner of the land for a reason, and I won't mention it now. I would not lie though. For this I will have to stand by my own word as I do not feel it is right for me to bring in others who may wish to remain annonymous for their own reasons.

That said however, I am hopeful that it was just a matter of a few bad *not very active* members of the group that started this bad rap and that they are either gone now, or that with the new group, they are not a part of what is going on now.

Anyway, again, I have no ill feelings towards anyone associated with the club. I do hope it is succesful and I will be sure to let Tayna know if I hear of other incidents that may be affecting the rep of the club.
