That really bites. All you can really do is take a lesson from it and carry on. You and Starax should get together. I am always on his case for allowing people the opportunity to walk on him like this, and he continues to let it happen anyway. Don't do that Kris! |

That does indeed suck, Kris- but if it makes you feel an eensy bit better, word is getting around in world. I got IM'd from friend today making sure i was not building for her. I told my friend i would never work for her- EVER. I was mildly burned by her as well- spent a few hours with her on one of her sims a couple months back as she ooohed and ahhhed over what i, and my building partner at the time, could do to see her vision to fruition. She was not happy with the builder she had and fired him then and there. I was still pretty new to the business dealings in world and did not know whether or not she was screwing him as well. Anyway- We were hired- she even gave us a folder with all her pics and whatnot. A couple days later my build partner IM'd her to find out what was up- when she wanted us to start as we had not heard from her since- she blew us off too. True, we did not put the work in that you did, but spending a few hours there was plenty for me  I also heard from someone else that got screwed by her about a month ago on the same project she blew us off on. So word is getting around and she will be hard put to find a builder to agree to rezz a box for her, nevermind a whole sim. The best thing you can do is to warn your builder friends about doing any work for her. Guess she better get herself to a Building 101 class, huh? heh heh

Kris, I'm glad to know that this situation has been resolved. I do some custom work, and would like to know privately (by forum PM or inworld IM) who was the person that did this. I wouldn't want to get involved with someone that has such a negative reputation when it comes to business dealings. So as not to create forum drama and not run the risk of entering into any partnership with said person, I would appreciate it if you could send me the info.
