From: Lordfly Digeridoo I hate this software so much, I think I'll keep my account and continue paying this horrible, baby-killing company a monthly fee so that they might gouge out my eyeballs and blenderize my intestines 40 hours a week. Actually, I haven't paid LL anything more than GOM profits since January, 2005. I enjoy SL when it's playable and when it pays for itself. However, I see no future beyond it's present incarnation and "uses" blah blah blah might as well be Philip talking for all it's worth eh.

What is interesting is Philip makes these statements publicly and yet significant numbers of customers quickly discover the disconnect of what's being claimed and the everyday reality of SL. He is after all the CEO - and thus these marketing over-statements carry weight, and sooner or later his words may begin to be taken much less seriously - both among us and within the industry. I believe his marketing excess play to his credibility - and possibly he should delegate this function to his very competent marketing director. _/_/_/
