I frequently see people in the Welcome Area mention they don't like like drama. None of them can quite define what drama is. Is it like in the soaps or something and what does it have to do with Second Life?
Drama, to me, means things like Shakespeare plays, so I need some enlightenment here!

Trying to diminish someone else's success rather than working on your own. That's one that's close to my heart: why put someone else down if you can lift yourself up? And then, help lift others up too?  Most "drama" or "drahma" is subservient to the law of the RRL, which stands for: Really Redundant Loop aka "it was done in Beta" aka "stay around here another year and you'll see this again... and again... and again..." aka "could be a really bad episode of Star Trek" _____________________

The word drama when used as slang pretty much means what Aimee said. It's when somebody takes something way too serious and makes it a big thing causing arguments. They get all upset over something that's really nothing. Even if it is "something" to get upset about you can cause drama by dragging other people into it. There's a lot of it in SL, some silly, some serious. When I came to SL I had no idea the things I would go through and how they would affect me. The fun, the laughter, the heartache, the friends, the enemies (I think my only enemy got banned but is running around as an alt that gave me my only neg
 ) ....it all leaves room for drama if you let it. Speaking of negs....differences of opinions can cause drama when people can't discuss things like adults and start flaming each other. Heh, read the forums long enough and you'll get a first rate lesson in slang drama  |

They -are- calling it for what it really is. Drama consists of those, among other things. You -do- realise there's many words for one meaning? And come on, did you -really- have to bring this up in a forum discussion? I'm sure you already knew what drama was, in Second Life. Well hey, this is a first, anyway.
