That is probably my favorite too.

Try it with some brown mustard, swiss cheese (or German marble cheese) and some iceberg lettuce. Its good with onions too.

You can also get pre-sliced BraunSchweger from the deli (its a lot better than the stuff in a tube)

If you want to kick it up a notch try it on toasted bread or a roll or a bagel with the cheese melted.

Yum!

Spread peanut butter on one slice

Squish together and eat.
Fun variant (Fluffanutter w/jelly)- put Welch's grape jelly on the Fluff. Squish and eat.

FLUFFANUTTERS!!!
Yummm
This sandwich brings back great childhood memories.

Rye bread
Turkey pastrami (sliced paper thin)
Peppered turkey breast (sliced paper thin)
Cole slaw (homemade)
Alpine lace swiss cheese (sliced paper thin)
Thousand island dressing (homemade)

1) put a slice of rye bread on a plate
2) put all the other stuff on the bread, as much or as little as you want of each one, and in whatever order you like. (i have to put all wet stuff like coleslaw and dressing in the middle of a sandwich because soggy bread is evil.)
3) taste bits and pieces and chunks of everything as you go along, leaving just enough for the sandwich
4) put another slice of rye bread on top
5) wrap up sandwich tightly and carefully and hide it under and/or behind stuff in the refridgerator
6) tell interested parties who enquire about all the missing good stuff clever and intriqueing stories about where it went
7) when you are alone in the house the next time, preferably after 11pm, and when you are watching a good movie, take out your sandwich, a container of Mr. Picklicious half sour pickles, a container of Mr. Picklicious 3/4 sour pickles, a container of Mr. Picklicious almond stuffed olives, a Snapple Diet Green Tea with Lime.
8) eat slowly, watching the movie, and wiping your hands on your (tshirt/nightshirt/underpants/cat/dog/whatever). make sure that you eat slowly enough to eat the last bite just as the credits are rolling at the end of the movie.
9) swig down any remaining Iced Tea and, if you have it, a Vernor's Diet.
10) burp loudly.
11) grab your cat (or a neighbor's cat or a neighbor)
12) snuggle up under a blankie freshly washed using real liquid fabric softener.
13) sleep

If I think of anything else, I"ll post again.

Apply liverwurst to bread, this may be difficult of the meat paste is hard from being in the fridge, but just mash hunks of it into the bread until sufficiently covered. Apply another slice of bread to the one you just mutilated. Enjoy!

The End.

Not sure if this falls under the sandwich category, but I take Liverwurst and mash it on the top of cinnamon rolls with raisins. :D

yumm...sweet and meaty.

You're kidding! I do the same thing, but I dip it in ranch dressing. :D

Heh sandwich?
I usually eat my bread plain. Or with some yogurt slapped on top of it.
Bread rules. I love it. We bake our own bread like every day. Yummy :)
My favorite part is the crust, it has more flavour and 5 times as many cancer-avoiding antioxidants. Crustless bread is poison :p

I was in disbelief at first, but people put ranch on pizza so I guess I'll believe you.

The white sauce for gyros is actually ranch and yogurt.. It is pretty good stuff and compliments the spicy lamb pretty well.

Just so that you're aware Remo, tzatziki sauce is yogurt, cucumber, onion, a little dill and garlic, not to mention the secret Greek spice. :)

*sobs* someone gave me the poor-mans recipe.

I suppose next you are going to tell me salsa is not 1/2 ketchup and some onions.

Heh, well around here we have a sort of ancient traditional "sandwich" consisting mostly of garlic fried in olive oil, dumped on top of a slice of bread.
It's pretty healthy compared to the usual bread'n'butter everyone eats.
They eat a lot of it in spain too.

1. Half a pack of Steak-Ums
2. Two slices of Wonder Bread, crust removed

Just kidding.

I don't have any earth-shatteringly good sandwiches to add but peanut butter, crispy bacon, and sharp cheddar is yummy.

Or, a slice of whole wheat toast, chicken salad, sharp cheddar, openface and stuck in the broiler until the cheese browns. Pepper extravagantly.

Try this one: Scramble some eggs with lots of chopped onion, and tomato pulp. Then throw some sliced mushrooms into it and slap it on the bread, between a couple lettuce leaves. Yummeh! :D

Jeez, some of you guys...

Anyway, I guess I'm pretty plain and standard:
BLT
PB&J
Rueben

The only one I can think of that someone might find strange would be bananas & peanut butter. Or pineapple & peanut butter.

PB&J sounded gross to me at first, but as usual "don't knock it until you've tried it"... it's nice!

Never tried peanut butter and banana, yet I'm already craving it. Going to have to try that one!

Here was my favorite sandwhich as a child:

Potato chip sandwhich.

As far as PB&J goes... I guess I've eaten so many of those they don't even register as a sandwhich, kinda like water doesn't always register as a beverage. :)
