For the last few days I have experienced lag when I use the SL forums. It takes 15-45 seconds for a page to load. Other websites are loading just fine.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

YES! Me too! Comcast has been having problems all week so I assumed they were the cause but maybe not.

same result here. i've also not been able to lookup their servers several times when logging in the past few days. |

No problems here, and Im viewing them from work into my home pc and then back out to the internet. Oh and FYI, Im using Road Runner (ie Time Worn Cable).
Edit: but I will say this, ever since 1.6 when I have SL running and I go to my browser and type in a URL, it takes between 15 and 20 seconds before the browser seems to even begin processing my request. If Im not running SL it happens within a second. And I have 2GB of ram. |

Mercury, planet of agreements, thinking, communication, information and data, has been retrograde since March 20th; it will return to a direct orbit on April 13th. Astrologers generally advise against making major purchases, job changes or generally any big changes when Mercury is in retrograde.
I think 1.5 was also released during a Mercury retrograde period, and it had a multitude of problems initially. C'mon, Lindens, it's easy enough to get this info; just check my favorite astrology site and plan accordingly. _____________________
