Out of curiosity, what's happening Feb. 11th?

Fun how fast a thread can change into a war. 7 post? Anyways, I can't wait to see it. I always loved that style and setting.

I seriously don't see what all the bitch slapping is about. It's not Totally's cup o' tea, but Chosen was impressed. I haven't been there, but I expect I'll be blown away. But maybe not; who knows? The effects seem clever and innovative, but "beautiful" is such a subjective term, it's not worth arguing over.

I hang out in Chinatown all the time and the performance is great.
I even tried playing it for a while but I suck at these fast paced shooter thingies.

Well I worked with Foxy on Sim Horror, and we became friends.
I really like her, I think she is a wonderful person and a natural leader.
Does this mean I'm feted and inner?

Just something I feel I should point out: Chinatown is more than just a gorgeous build. It's also got a functioning combat system along the lines of Unreal Tournament. Yes, the graphical achievements are truly stunning, but there has also been an incredible effort put into scripting the combat system used in Chinatown. It's more than just a pretty place; it's a pretty place in which you can frag your friends.

Obligatory disclosure: I'm not affiliated directly with the Bedazzled team or the project that built Chinatown, but I do know one of the unsung codeslingers who's been working hard for the past couple of months to make a functioning combat system.

A long-time shooter fan myself, I look forward to launching ordinance at my friends when the place goes live.
