Nope they do not need to warn us of Random events, as that would be impossable, BUT chosing to log people out as you have allowd people to log in as an experament to see what the system can handle at the moment, isnt a random event.
He let people log in just to experament, and I as well as probably many other people had no idea that loging onto sl this morning I was just another number in the experament. had i known this I probably wouldnt have been working on something,

And then CHOSING to log everyone out, is not a random event, it is something that simply happend because he or they, instructed the system to do so.

Now the lindens have already said there sorry for not warning us, the only reason I keep possting Is because you people keep posting these ideas that do not make sense according to the actual situation. Please Read it all befor posting what you think to be true, because most of you are just saying things that are unrelated.

LJ lost his script. That sucks. He wished he'd gotten warning he was gonna be logged out. He came here and posted to say so. Andrew said sorry and that he should have given warning, and will try to be more careful in the future. Not an entirely happy ending for LJ, but he probably feels better now.

Or would feel better, if some posters hadn't decided to kick him while he was down. So the guy responded, and then he got kicked some more.

Kim, its not what he wanted to find out about as to why the flaming, it was the wording of it and his original post was inflamatory and hence the flaming. I simple question asking about it would have sufficed. The demanding accuasations in the thread asked for it. Maybe if he calmly requested an explination nothing would have become of it.
