Another thread made me wonder what I would ask for from llSanta() if he really exists.
I would ask for a pet chicken, a duffle bag, the ability to add a subtexture on objects, pancakes, parcel specific gravity, and a clown with no head.
Honestly though, I would like an SL button or patch in RL, or a collection of the LL sounds used for official SL stuff (like those soft bleeps and twinkles sounds).

well, I would like a llREFERENCE() where if there is a box which is referenced, there will be two instances of it - so instead of waiting for a brick building to load, just one brick is needed and the others will be seen instantly. Kind of like vrml.
Free land without paying to stay on might be asking for a tad too much So I'll ask for an option to stay in homes without the group option. Did we have an option for voice chat in sl? Avatars could open and close their mouth as they talk from our streamed voices. Basically more options to edit in creating, the subtract for example, would be very useful. Oh well, I cant really think of any more at the moment ... How about world peace? _____________________

eh? Can someone give me a link to where I can read about this? Basically, as it stands right now, if your server crashes, you randomly get a sim from a pool of stand-by simulators at LL's colo facility. You may get a sim from the early days of SL, or you may get one of the latest hyperthreaded servers. LL says there is no difference, but there really is. It can be the difference between a server fps of 750 and a time dilation of 0.99-1.00 and a server fps of 150 and a time dilation of 0.90-0.95. Time dilations below 1.00 are considered to be a measurement of lag, and lower sim fps mean that your server has less "procesing" capacity left to handle lag. Now, they are going to change how this works. You will no longer pick from the random pool, but will tend to get the type of PC that your sim was initially created with. This means that older sims will tend to get older simulator computers, and newer sims will tend to get newer simulator computers. Private island owners will also be able to get the newer sims because they somehow get preferential treatment, more features then mere mainlanders. A mention that these old sims will eventually get upgrades, but who knows. _____________________

(basicaly a editor that when a .bvh is brought in offsets to the size of the avatar can be compensated for in the intial upload control.
