I have 2 dogs, a Brittany Spaniel that is 15 and a Weimeraner that is 9. They are both very playful dogs and great with kids. They are well suited for families and are very energetic and athletic. Being sporting dogs they have a keen sense of smell and have strong pointing instincts. Both are loyal companions who are lovable babies that will steal your heart.

The Brittany is very very smart. She was voice trained when younger. I used to jog 5 miles a day and she could go with me and be off of the lead the whole time. Other dog owners were amazed at how theirs would be dragging them around and going wild seeing another dog while mine would pay them no attention at all.

The Weimeraner is not as smart but is a real sweetheart. She is an 80lb lap dog who wags her whole body since her tail is bobbed. She is very protective and a good watch dog. She looks mean when she shows her teeth but little would a robber know that she REALLY wants to lick them to death. One of the coolest things about Weimies is their ears. They are silky smooth and feel incredibly soft to the touch. Their gray eyes are quite beautiful too.

Growing up my best friend had Lions! Yes that’s right… real live big ole Lions. They were a blast but I wouldn’t recommend them unless you knew what you were getting into. Nothing is cooler then playing with a Lion and letting a him stalk you. You can not imagine how still they can be and will stay that way as long as you have eye contact with them. But, the second you break that eye contact… here he comes… you do not stand a chance as he tackles you by the legs and starts licking you.

If you are interested in a Lion know that you can not own them when they are adults. They are too wild and hard to control. You could get one as a cub and own it through its puberty but once it near adulthood you have to find a zoo or something to take it. They are very expensive to own as they have voracious appetites. My friends parents knew the butcher who gave them all of their scraps so it wasn’t too bad for them. You can’t keep them inside either. You have to have a nice, big, heavy cage. You also shouldn’t have 2 at the same time. They did that one time but the Lions were too rough to play with because they were used to playing with each other. You can not imagine how strong these animals are. Yes, they are lots of trouble but I will guarantee you one thing… you will never have a problem with thieves… hehe.

Size doesn't matter in the dog world.

You are twisted, Talen.

And now I regret mentioning my rabbits' love of face-humpage.

Well, since everyone's on about their pets, regardless of the actual topic of this thread :D, this is my cat, Brodie. Possibly just the sweetest, strangest, chattiest cat on Earth (barring Siamese). She owns the couch.

OMG Brodie!

As a pup, I had a Scottish Terrier, who was afraid of random household objects, but would absolutely not back down to any other animal. Hehe, never, ever look a Scotty in the eyes.

As for Talen's question... no comment. :D

seriously.. i have a three legged cross breed, he was the only puppy in the pound and looked so helpless :( jake is extremely loving... and annoyiing at the same time.. but i so wouldnt be without him, nor would my lil girl :)

You adopted a 3 legged dog? Wow. That's superb of you. They get along pretty well don't they? From what I've seen they are still pretty nimble even with a leg missing.

I have a lab and pug. The pug is easy, adaptable, comical. The lab sheds a ton and needs alot of exercise, which is fine since it forces me to get outside and walk 45 minutes a day. Labs are super dogs but pretty high maintenance in my opinion.

Sadly, I'm not sexually attracted to either of them.
