I feel sad only because I've just gotten to know all of you at Cape Destiny and host events there, but know that I'll probably tail along behind some of you, and continue to harass you with my new inventions as they come out *big hugs to everybody*

Ack! Another huge loss for SL. I thorougly enjoyed your bingo games (and all the cheeky humour that went with it!) Just wish I'd attended more often now. You were also the first (and last) person I know of that ran an event with voice via the music streaming feature, which was a fun one to listen to. None of the other bingo games today match it (no offense to those who run them, it takes a lot to work magic like Mallie did) and Cape Destiny will be sorely missed. But good on you for looking after your health... 1st life comes first Best wishes to you and Val, and hope you get well soon! *hugs*

I have a little something more to say...

We are very thankful for the time that we have had on Cape Destiny. I feel that we have accomplished what we intended to as far as creating an SL paradise with an incredible community made up of residents & visitors, many of whom are also our Family & friends. Thank you all for the wonderful memories, for helping our SL dream come true.
As others have pointed out, it's NOT about the place but rather the PEOPLE. As much as we will miss Cape Destiny we find comfort in knowing that we still have our family & friends. "Home is where the heart is" Destiny was home because many of the people who matter so much to us were there. As long as we still have all of you we will ALWAYS have a HOME in SL.
*hugs you all*

Arghhh Good health is highly underrated, and I have been a regular visitor to Cape Destiny. Not so much lately, but in the months before (lotsa trivia ya know). Not to mention the tales I've heard of stuff done there. *hugs Mal and Val* Thanks for what you've made Cape Destiny, and I wish you good health in both your OL and SL. This is cliched, but undoubtedly true: I HOPE YOU GET WELL SOON

It Seems there may be some hope of saving Cape Destiny. The offers of support & desire to keep Cape Destiny going has been overwhelming. Valana & I want to apologize to all of you for all this mess. we both realize what we should have done was talked things out more with those people who are/were involved in Cape Destiny, giving them an opportunity to help us come up with ideas & solutions to take some of the load off of us so we can maintain the island but still have less stress, more fun & still be able to focus on what we need to RL. Valana & I can be very stubborn. We always think about how we (as in her & I) are going to do this & that. the reality is, It's not only val & I who make Destiny what it is. It's all of you as well. We would like to know that we have tried EVERYTHING possible to save Destiny before we just walk away from it forever. So we are going to get ourselves organized with some family & friends to see what can be done. So for NOW Cape Destiny is OFF the market. Thanks again for all your kind words, offers of support & friendship Sincerely, Malana & Valana Spencer

As long as it doesn't affect your health to keep trying, then that's *great* news The new automated bingo system seems to work very well (I'm sure the low FPS issues will be sorted out) and looks like that'd take a bit of weight off your shoulders and leave you to the more relaxing side of it

It shouldn't affect my health. Once we get the *helpers* in place things should go more smoothly. & yes Del that's the point of the new bingo. Make it easier (allowing me to be more interactive with the crowd). & yes hopefully the FPS issue will be resolved SOON.
