So, officially she was wrong, but technically, Canadians were there, and died there.

Canadian Special Forces were trained in Canada, so just barely technically there were there - not that I'm agreeing with Ann Coulter here.

I saw a clip of her getting up in arms that Canada is lucky that the United States lets us stay on this continent.

I also heard another Fox regular at first state that everyone in Canada rides dogsleds and that we're behind the times. He then corrected himself (eventually) saying that he believes there is a lot of dogsledding going on in Canada.

The sad truth is, the facts don't matter. The point she was trying to make was one that justified Vietnam, a decision I don't agree with. And that's all there is to that in my book.

I do believe the point was that the Canadian government did not participate in 'Nam. Some Canadians did, of their own volition, contribute to the conflict but the government remained nuetral. There are those in the US who act as mercenaries in wars not associated with the government but that does not mean that the government is by any stretch involved in those conflicts.

Ann is a narrow minded radical schlemiel. She spouts off racist and separatist comments at whim with little regard for facts. If she would have said that some Canadians backed the war effort or involved themselves in the war that would ring true. That is not, however, what she stated. By saying that Canada, the country, was involved in the war she was insinuating that the government played an active role. This is a false statement much like most of her allegations. Thank god she has the ability to look semi-attractive in leather cause buddha knows an ugly woman wouldn't have gotten nearly as far using her vein of logic.

Amazing that you Liberals attack Ann like a school of piranah at the first scent of blood in the water. How sad that it was such a small cut. In all this time the only shred of real fact you've had against her is this one small error. Meantime, the woman has written three bestsellers worth of material discounting your side with piles of evidence.

I have seen Crazy Ann on C-SPAN. She is a bona fide, certifyable mental case. I can understand the right wanting to defend their pundits, but Coulter is just way out there. I guess in her eyes, I'm committing "treason" by disagreeing with her.
