I must admit I was really looking forward to the Linden support for my Survivor series. But is that stopping me now? No. Will it stop me in the future. No.

All the Survivor hosts are still on board and eager to get going next week, they dont care about the $250 to do the event. They want to have fun.

Our contestants are new players who joined after Sep 04 up until now. We have advertised the $500 a night prize money for the past few weeks. I now have 14 new players all signed up and I cant afford the $500 a night to pay them. So I now need to ask them if they will still participate if there is no prize money and would they except a object prize instead. We will pay from our pockets for the grand prizes at the end.

If the new players say no, they sisgned up only for the prize money, then that may set the stage for the rest of us in the Event business.

If the new players say yes, we will still do it for other prizes and for the fun, then there is hope. We will then know that some players will participate in events for the creativity, the challenge, and the avatars they meet.

My gut feeling? All 14 new players will stay and have a great time regardless of any nightly prize money.

I will continue to host events. I have not received Linden support for my events in over 8 months (mainly because I just stopped requesting it). It never stopped me from giving prizes before, so nothing will change for me as far as how I handle events. :)
