Good question. I don't get it either, but I think some just like the attention it brings to them.

Pez doesn't need flavors, it is it's own Entity. I think they still have the same "flavors": pink, purple, & yellow.

oh great, now i've gotta try Red Bull. been avoiding it. but i hear it gives you wings, is this true? i really would like to have wings.

Gotta love Jeska, always being on top of things especially a Pez dispensor giving out ruminations!!!! Someone with photoshop needs to make a Jeska pez dispensor.

Joseph, there are people in this world that cannot just ignore things that they are incapable of responding intelligently too. So to try to hide their ignorance they have to make others mad and angry and cause flame wars. They can't just leave well enough alone. Their lack of positive communication is most likely their crutch in society.

*also could be that their momma refused to breast feed them, hehe

I guess it's just one of those things. Where if you don't understand it, it's a good thing. And Merc, i don't like Pez, I LOVE PEZ!!!!

Forums often in many venues devolve into flame wars.

Generally this is becuase people can be intollerant of other people's right to keep and state their opinion.

This is of course most obvious in threads where the poster or one of the respondants is intentionally trying to polarize people.

As far as Pez goes -- I used to never put the candy in the despenser , would just eat it right out of the wrapper. Id even buy the refill packs without even having a dispenser around handy. ^^ - go ahead Flame away =pPpP

The SL forums do go down in flames more often than any other I've used. I think it's partly due to the "hands off" moderating necessitated by LL's position of customer service. Most other forums I've used, the admins and mods were more often involved in forum discussion, and were more likely to redirect a thread themselves before taking any mod action.

Again, this is because of the voluntary/common interest nature of those forums, whereas this forum is administered by a company providing a service, and as such they can't be expected to be all that active in the actual discussions.

Just my theory of the moment.
