and one I'd like an honest answer too.

why is it when someone starts a post on something that they're honestly concerned about, it degenerates into a flame war?

Not aiming this at anyone, have just noticed it happening frequently.

Because if you're concerned about something which is not yet a problem or not a widely understood problem, then people think you are merely stirring up trouble.

And, therefore deserve to be flamed.

Another part I think is people try to be funny and humour doesn't transfer over the internet very well so people can easily see a joke as an attack on them.

You would have to ask the ones doing it. I have no idea either but I know if I asked something like "how do I torture a torus" it would end up in a flamewar. :D

Actually I would have to agree with the "not known" thing and also "Not my problem type situation. Noone cares about you're problems till it becomes thiers. Then once you have all the answers you are a cheater cause you did the work 6 months ago when you first told everyone.

I don't know why you're trying to encourage Linden Lab to implement Pez when they still still haven't fixed the sim crossing bug. in fact, if Pez is implemented in SL before Havok 2, I'm selling all my property and moving back to Animal Crossing.

Last Pez I bought was 99 cents for the dispenser and 2 sleeves of candy. Its cheaper to buy sugar cubes.
