When was the last time you saw a griefer?

Friday night. Somebody came to Midnight City with a rocket launcher that caused severe lag. Some visitors were forced to relog. Fortunately I had his handywork in my PvP report so I filed an abuse complaint against him.

I never fight back when this sort of thing happens since doing so would muddy the waters and make it difficult for a Linden to determine who was the actual the perp and who was the victim.

I hate it when aime busts me trying to crash Midnight City with my porta nuker, just so I can steall allthe panties in *Preen*. The beatings are severe.

It s much better than spelling lessons, though. :)

I have to ask, do any of you handle griefers by yourselves? If you pay no attention to them, they sooner or later do go away as the attention that they want isn't given.
I always handle them by myself, unless the whole thing is over and they have been a complete idiot, then I may AR them. As to the original question...

Yesterday! (in the sandbox which is soo typical now).

:)

I get shot in the sandboxes frequently. Typically I'll be concentrating on my work, zoomed in on part of it, when...BLAM! Up-up-up-up in the air I go. I find it annoying.

If it seems there is less griefers here, it is only because summer vacation is over, and the minors are back in school. Thus they have less time to be here.

Generally speaking, I AR grief attacks. However, depending upon severity and circumstance, I have been known to don my Golden Seigebot (upgrade thanks to Mr. Templar) and blow their griefing ass home.

I really DO try to live by the rules. But I am also a firm believer in a good old fashioned smackdown when needed.

It was.. Sometime last week, or the week before, I think?

Some guy following me in the sandbox with C4 attached to himself blowing me away, then using a cager on me. I largely tried to ignore him, as my flight-booster allows me to easily extricate myself from cages. I eventually ARed him, though.

After wandering off, I heard nothing of 'im again. He never said anything, though, even when I asked him what the deal was. ::Shrugs.::

Hand of god works wonders, especially if the griefer has a crap system :)

At the Relay for Life event. :(

Not getting out much makes a big difference. Unfortunately, there will never be a shortage of asshats in the world.

Ditto. Being so close to the Sandbox... it was kinda inevitable.

The Sandbox seems to attract them like a magnet.

Last time was a couple of months back... but I don't really do events.

Went and bought the nastiest shield I could find, went back to where the griefers were and let them try again. They begged me to turn off my retaliation.

I don't think I have ever been griefed in SL. I have never had an event disrupted by a griefer, and I have never been sent flying across 2 sims by some gun. The majority of the people whining about griefers are griefers themselves (all those Mafia) people and they complain when they get out griefed. I say, "Let them eat Cake".

Saturday. It was during an SL business class. The jerk was making snide comments and playing with a stupid scripted object named Fluffy the whole time. I wanted to smack his pixels off the screen.
