I do however believe strongly in personal responsibility. In other words, keeping them locked up from children, actually knowing how to use them (I think anyone who owns a gun should go through a course on how to use, clean and secure their arms.) I will say this however, arguing from an emotional, and irrational angle only works for the mass-media. Fortunatly for you, the media takes your ignorant position. Theres a difference between trolling and the fine art of satire. Anyways. All for guns. Restrictions are fine, though they have to be smart. The Assault Rifle ban was a load of bullcrap that was completely useless. It only banned guns on asethetic(and ergonomic) reasons and still allowed guns on the market already still change hands. Well, besides the ban on grenade launcher attachments. Kinda sad about the inability to own full auto weapons -- though the logic is clear. Man, I'd love to blow 1000 dollars of ammo out of an mg42. That type of firepower though is understandably restricted. |

I actually have one of the strangest divisions of views on this issue, because a) I don't think the government should tell us what to do, and b) I don't think people should have guns.
The solution is to make people stop wanting guns, which is hard.
