Catherine Cotton is wonderful

I think Cat is a truly good-hearted person, with an unfortunatley thin skin and quick temper. She wants what she feels is best for SL, that much is obvious. And I agree with her on many of her points. Unfortunately, moderation in expressing and defending one's opinions is not always an easy thing to accomplish, and tempers flair and feelings get hurt.

There is no denying that she is a vital member of the SL community, and a voice that speaks out for what she feels are injustices.

I hope you reconsider Cat, and really just remember that we are all humans with feelings and emotions, and to not get overly upset about the goings on of this virtual world and the forum follies.

I am a fan of Catherines as well. Although I do not always agree with her, I admire her perseverance, her strength, and the wonderful way in which she expresses herself.
We need more of Catherines in our world. I have had only good personal experiences with her; I find her to be fair and forthright and always willing to admit if she has been wrong.

In addition, she provides us with wonderful, colorful forum postings and terrific insight into future trends.

I have said many times that the wonder of SL is that we can each forge our own way and find the right path to folllow for ourselves, whether it be social, business or philosophical.

Please take a break Cat, have a great holiday and return to us. There are many more who appreciate you than those few who may not. Indeed they are entitled to speak out as well as you. I realize that you have had much to endure, but perhaps that is your path... A difficult one you have chosen my friend, and I for one appreciate so much that you always have the courage of your convictions.

I agonized over my first post for days. Planning out the perfect way of using it. When I saw this thread I knew my time had come. This was the best way to blossom on these computer game forums!

As far as ratings go I don't give a smack about them, I see worrying about them about as important as a junior high schooler upset because all their friends have a pair of Nikes and they don't. Interesting that you bring up ratings though...

I can't believe I'm doing this. I am going to use a phrase made public first by Korg the assassin. People who post with Alts and can't stand by their statements by their in world names, are a "waste of electrons". Don't stay gone too long Cat it will get boring here.

Let it suffice to say that in a year and a half I have called *alt* 2 times.

*Nora* is so savvy about the forums she just dropped in and started swimming as if she was born in the water. Not to mention she got that *alt* forum avatar up in record time after being called on it. No, not going to name her as the Lindens don't seem to appreciate that too much.
