That kind of crap is NOT needed. We may be on different sides of the fence politically, but I would never suggest burning any conservatives because they hold different views.

I'm not saying it has personally happened to me (it has-but it was a small group), just asking the question. Also, I am referring to SL specifically here. And to answer your question, George Bush was elected by winning a majority of both the popular and electoral vote.

George Bush "won" by winning a very slim majority of those people he allowed to vote.

But I still think that since this post was for IW recruiting, it should have remained in General Discussion.

Oh, and as for "hate speech", in her post "The Big Lie", Isis Becquerel posted an article that not only compared the Bush administration to the Nazis and insinuiated that they were behind the 9/11 attacks.

...but that's not hate speech.

Well in that case I believe that all Liberals are Nazis without the sharp uniforms. I believe by their own actions (aligning themselves with terrorists who have stated the destruction of Israel as their goal) to clearly be anti-Jewish and thus in league with the Nazis.

Mmm....free speech...

Of course such generalizations are wrong and very harmful. I have several IW friends who stand on the other side of the fence from me. None of them advocate the burning of flags or the destruction of Israel. Just making a point.

This is about an In World group... Did you miss that Jeska? Or do YOU happen to have a personal stake or agenda?

Back to topic here... if any of my fellow Conservatives be you Republican or independent would like to join the SL chapter of Protest Warrior, please sign up IW. Once we get a group going will start sorting out events and such. I've snagged the signs from the PW website and are making them IW as well as the t-shirts. All for free of course.
