Hey darco, what kind of Mac do you have? I have a new PowerBook - 1.5GHz G4 and a 64MB ATI video card. I usually get 7 - 15 fps. On the dual 2GHz G5 at work, I get more like 15 - 22 fps. Linden Lab is still working on the final version of the Mac client. It's been beta for about 10 months now.

Aren, my Powerbook is 1.0GHz and 32MB GeForce video card. I get around 2 fps most of the time, and I've never got more than 10, even in an empty brand-new Sim. I was wondering whether that was mostly due to my connection (Comcast cable) or my machine specs. Any thoughts?

I think it's the spces because that's about what I get on my G4 iMac - 800MHz, 32MB video card. If you have an ATI card you should try 10.3.5 because it has the latest drivers.
