SL could be slow due to your connection speed, and/or your graphics configuration. Try messing around with the various settings in the Preferences to see if that helps. I would try disabling or lowering some graphical settings and fiddling with the network settings untill a favoritable speed is acheived.
While lowering settings may degrade how SL looks, it can also help speed things up. If you didn't mean the actual in-world is slow, what exactly did you mean? More information would be helpfull when trying to help you.  "Help me, help you!" _____________________

yall are wrong. Period point blank. This persons first language could be some language that is only spoken deep in some forest with only 5 known people. lol maybe not but never the less dont hate because he cannot speak english well. of course if he/she responds wiht the i speak english i will be embarassed and retract my comment of course.

The server you're connecting to is in California, here on the West Coast of the US. That's a very long distance for internet traffic to go. Maybe someone else will have an idea for you though. |

Hey darco, what kind of Mac do you have? I have a new PowerBook - 1.5GHz G4 and a 64MB ATI video card. I usually get 7 - 15 fps. On the dual 2GHz G5 at work, I get more like 15 - 22 fps. Linden Lab is still working on the final version of the Mac client. It's been beta for about 10 months now.
