Sorry Lector, I agree with you avtually. I'm more using this thread as an excuse to try and figure out how to post pics in the forums. Any chance you can tell me how to get a pic to appear in the post rather than as a link?

As for the Condi confirmation. I have stated it before and I will do so again.
Condoleeza Rice is an alien. Anyone with half a brain can tell she is a lizard person just by looking at her. I am strongly opposed to the lizard person invasion and even more opposed to them holding any high ranking office in our government. Lecktor, people here n NC are pretty darn nice. I was extremely disappointed when I saw the most gorgeous pair of cowboy boots at Kenneth Cole the other day and they didn't have my size. I almost threw a tantrum in South Park Mall. Never fear, I will find a pair of boots soon. I had a custom embroidered baseball cap made the other day that simply says ZEALOT on the front. I think it helps me fit in with some of the locals. People stare at first but they always smile. The worst part about living here is that people seem to think that North Charlotte is located near the North Pole. I am living up near Concord Mills for those in the know. (I had no idea of location. It is a Charlotte address, and I rented sight unseen.) I was calling around to some day spas today because I really need a massage and body wrap. (If you've never taken a day at a spa you really should. It will change your life.) I call this one place with four locations in Charlotte and ask the guy which one is the closest to me. He asks where I live and I tell him and he says, "We don't really have anything near you you!" It was as if I was calling from another continent. I live in Charlotte. Their spas are in Charlotte. How fucking far away can it be? It's like that everywhere. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go out and club some dinner as there are no restaurants here in the northern tundra. _____________________

Some turn around...Lincoln was fighting to preserve the Union. He used the slavery issue because the majority of folks were not slave owners and would therefor find it unjust to own a slave (which it is). You are gravely mistaken in your argument if you think that simply using the Emancipation Proclimation negates Lincoln's former thoughts on the subject. I was simply saying that a man did what ended in a good deed in order to supress the true reasons for the war. The outcome was beneficial to human rights but it was the death of states rights. Then again you will not likely understand that argument, so I digress for fear that by the time I finish I would have written a thesis and Condee just isn't worth it. This has to do with a liar being confirmed. This is not a Pub or Lib issue it is an American Issue Right Isis, we all know how anti-black Abraham Lincoln was. Heck, his name is synonymous with that... right? LOL I know that the fact that he was a Republican makes him a target for you but I do believe that his legacy is a little different that you would like. It is hilarious to me that it has been projected that Condi (a very smart, well spoken black woman) will be confirmed by a landslide yet the news only wants to show the few nuts that are shamefully tearing her down while leaving the vast majority of congressional supporters silent. It's kind of like ... after Columbine, there was a slew of copycat school murders, including this one kid whose name slips my mind. After he was arrested, some of his friends put up signs saying "We're with you" (I think his name was Andy?). Their rationalization was that just because he killed some people didn't mean that they had to stop being friends, which just boggles my mind. I really have nothing to say in favor of Bush himself, though I do believe that the works of some of the Republicans in office right now are worthy of praise. For example I applaud Jeb's education reforms in florida. I do not believe that the liberal agenda is correct either as I am a staunch conservative when it comes down to welfare reform (I believe it to be an oppressive system which should be done away with all together) and I believe that the rights of the individual take precedence over the rights of the ruling party. I furthermore do not believe that we need to make a politically correct America to the point where we are all Plus/petite/husky sized, far/near sighted, <state IQ leve here>, <name psychoneuro disorder here>, hetero/homo, <insert color of skin here>, <insert nationality here>. I do believe that we can all be friggin human without all that malarchy ACLU crap loading us down. So please refrain from calling me a flaming liberal as I am a flaming individualist. I believe in capitalism and the rights of man, last I heard these concepts are not mutually exclusive. Your sect has yet to corner the market on those ideas last I heard. You on the otherhand think that every american fits neatly into some little mold of Dem or Pub because it is easy for you. You don't have to think then do you.
