Good luck to the "devellopers" of this game.
If your investors get a dime on the dollar they spent on this they should consider themselves lucky!
Have any of you ever played a REAL online RPG?
Take a look and I think you'll be surprised.
Hell, even "earth and be yawned" was more fun than this!

LOL moron, thats great, i'm glad you know where to find a REAL RPG, considering this isn't an RPG, have fun, well i suppose it could be if you wish to play a role, though I typically play myself.

The whole point of the game is its a SECOND LIFE. You can do whatever you want!

I know he won't see this, but I am shocked to see that he didn't even get the concept, its not that hard to understand what the game is meant to be, whether you enjoy it or not is another question.

I actually saw Wildsmith in the Welcome area. The first thing I heard come from him was something to the effect of "What's the point of this game". I knew right then and there that Second Life was not for him. He asked Lee if there was stuff to do, and then the whining started. He asked Lee about building stuff, and Lee recommended attending a building class. At that point, Wildsmith kinda left in a huff.

To sum it up, Wildsmith just doesn't "get" Second Life. He's entitled to his opinion, and in my opinion, his time would be better spent elsewhere.

Ok first of all, "Have any of you ever played a real RPG?" Have you ever gone to a school where they told you it is not neccasary to start each sentance on a new line? Just curious. Oh, and one "l" in developer.

Ok, done feeling cheaply superior. The truth is, SL isn't an RPG. If you want to be creative and innovative in an infinate environment, then stay here and quit whining. If you want to play an RPG, blast the fark out of a goblin in everquest, I really don't mind. While I assume your prefrance would be closest to the former, I don't have a high enough self-esteem to give in

You know...

I am sure this guy, if he decided to get past the lack of leveling, would have found something cool to do in SL. There is a whole lotta cool to find, enough for anyone to find something.

What ever the reasons he is being bashed here, he is one type of player that would make a very valuable convert for SL and LL to reach its potential as a long lived online community.

Maybe instead of reacting as seen here , if someone took him under their wing for a day, showed him some cool stuff, there would have been a chance that he might have realized that SL has alot to offer and who knows, maybe brought over his entire guild.

He could very well be back in EQ now, trashing SL.

One never knows.....
