Hahah, what are you talking about? I saw episode 11 earlier this week! :D It was a big mistake delaying the US airings. But, for what it's worth, the show is quite good.

I'm really psyched for it. I watched the mini-series for laughs figuring it would thoroughly blow chunks. It turned out to be the best made for TV sci-fi I've ever seen, hands down. I'm embarassed that I ever liked the original series, but hey, I was twelve! The reinvented BSG is dark, gritty, and extremely well written and produced. Can't wait!

Count me in. I got sucked into the pilot and it looks like a great show.

I'll be there. I used to watch Battlestar Galactica religiously when I was a kid. They mini-series remake was pretty good, actually, and fixed some of the silly problems that came out of being a 70s-style space movie.

That may be, but Starbuck still smokes a stogie now and again :D

I *just* caught the end of the miniseries last night. I must confess that it was faaar better than I was expecting. I am a big gaming fan so I was particularly impressed with the fact that fighter-to-fighter combat actually resembled all those games we grew up playing. Whether it's realistic or not... (it's Sci-fi), who the hell cares. It sure felt right.

Beyond that, the Cylons are positively chilling, the odds are pretty grave and the setting is actually believable. And best of all, NO DISCO. Highly recommended.

Dirk Benedict had a career? I thought he put a stop to that with The A Team.

I plan on seeing it as well. That whole night should be good too with SG1 and SG Atlantis on before it.

The miniseries was indeed well done. Despite some strange casting, the characters got fleshed out well and the dialogue was pretty decent. Most of the visual effects were well done also. So I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the series.

Alby, is that you? I've been able to read several of your posts today without wanting to strangle you. So tell me, what have you done with the real Alby? And what will it take not to let him back?

The 4 hour pilot was actually better than I expected. I kinda like how they made glancing references to the original series. They even slipped in some of the original civillian convoy ships (look very carefully). Best of all, no cute, silly robots! :D

I think instead of waiting for their ratings to slip, they should just get it over with and introduce Boxy the Dagget now.
