ALT-Mouse Focus Rules .. Focus On Pie Menu Option Drools .. j/k ..
I found myself having to learn the placement of the pie menu options again for some reason. I usually use the keybooard shortcuts more but was odd , a few minor changes to the menu threw me completely off.
Could always increase the size of the pie menu to accommodate more options.

I've seen programs that have on-the-fly pie menus that expand as needed, and make further groups of options around the outside as you select inner choices. If things are getting tight there, that's a possibility. I too use the ALT-drag method all the time to move my camera about. I rarely use the pan except for lately... ...You see, when you have a linkage of large prims and you want to zoom in on a corner, ALT-drag gets rather flakey. It doesn't zoom and orbit the spot you clicked, but instead some other point in the object. SUPER annoying. In fact, now that I think about it, it should probably be reported as a bug. The orbit point should always be the spot you actually clicked, and never something that could even be out of your viewing area! But I rarely used Focus On, even less than Pan. Oh, and I Alt-drag in other programs too. Heck, even when editing a script I'll try and Alt it to scroll. It's getting to be too ingrained in my psyche.
