I have formed the Clans of Scotland group for those who are Scottish or have Scottish ancestery. Your real last name does not have to be a clan name to join, just as long as you are of descent. I hope to hold events and such, but you do not have to participate if you do not wish to. Lets show our roaring Scottish spirit!

Madeira, there are several spellings of the clan name (and I even got mine wrong..typing too fast...) McClellan

If I remember correctly, there are a two major branches. One coming out of South Carolina and one from from....maybe Ohio? I'd have to look it up again.

Ooh, Mcdonalds. McDonalds and McLeods have a competitive history ;).

Its actually funny how influential some of the clans still are. Clan McLeod has the only current Chieftan out of all the clans that still resides in the clan's original stronghold, Dunvegan Castle. When I went to the Isle of Skye I still remember the residents saying the Chieftan's family still owns much of the property on the island, and holds the economy lol.
