Ok, having read your later postings, I take back what I said in the one above. It wasn't intended as a witch hunt.

But in view of the sustained barrage of vicious attacks that Catherine has had to endure in these forums over the last year or so, the original posting was somewhat inappropriate, to say the least. Perhaps you haven't been here long enough to understand what she had to put up with, but I think it was enough to drive many lesser people out of the game altogether.

She hasn't HAD to put up with anything, Sel. She choses to.

i think regular insinuations on the forum that players who are making even the most marginal of profits from playing SL are immoral is going to far. this, on the other hand, is friendly humour which will fund my hopeful purchase of ross if catherine accepts my offer.

Finally a reasoned view of what I intended here. I mean no one any harm or hurt and if Cat took it that way apologies. I sit back mostly and laugh at the diatribes that go on here. Granted I put in my own digs here and there but am basically harmless. You are correct that I haven't been here long enough to know what may have transpired in the old days but got here in time for some aforementioned drahma's so still have my tongue firmly implanted in cheek. Peace to all and happy holidays no I take that back.... MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Catherine - I am very sorry to see that you are so disilluisoned with SL and have given up your island. I don't have enough history in SL to understand why or what has led up to this descision.

I do know one thing however, Lecktor is not only "harmless" as he puts it, but he's kind too and this thread was intended in the nature of a joke. So - your previous post appears to me to be yet another dramatic slam after the man has apologized and explained his intent (see the post above the one you posted).

I could be wrong, but thats how it looks to me.

Overall, I wish you well and I sincerely hope that someday you return to the SL community refreshed and happy in the future.

It's ok to have Contreversy..it's ok to debate..it's ok to Joke..Lecktor put a smiley face with tongue sticking out..that is a symbol of joking..not intent on hurt I believe..however; Catherine is upset..so such is the result.

Me and Lecktor have even exchanged words..of course I try to use tact. Deep down we are all human and we just want to feel wanted. Just like a post I responded to regarding a parent whipping a child..know your limits and what is abuse, however; sometimes one does not know circumstances and extreme emotions behind the words as one cannot see the facial expressions. Cat..lecktor showed his expression with a Symbol..I know you are upset..not everyone is intentfully agaisn't you from the heart. Some just want you to smile.
