i've seen some coldhearted disregard for people feelings on this forum over the past year. it's been so cruel on occassion that i've almost just given up on the community.

but this takes the cake.

I have to agree with Khamon here, Lecktor. I've had basicly nothing but disagreement with Catherine since day one, but this was nothing but a personal jab, it served no point, and was completely uncalled for.

Versus her constant drama inducing threads laced with veiled attacks followed by goodbye I'm leaving threads ? IMHO this is tame. Thanks for your opinions though.

Hey, I'm not saying I support what she does. I don't. In the slightest. I have in the past reported several of her personal attacks.

But they don't belong here from /anyone/. Just because she lowers herself to personal attacks doesnt mean you should. As a forum, we should strive to /not/ do things like that.

Forgive my ignorance and hijack, but I'm super curious. Reitsuki, I've noticed a few of your posts where you have words between slashes. Such as: /word/

What does this mean? If you don't mind me asking. :)

It's basicly the same thing as *word*, word, or word. Except its something I can do with a single keystroke, instead of shift+something, messing with typing out the syntax, or the hassle of using the mouse to do it (I rarely touch my mouse except when I'm in game... I grew up without mice, and I guess I've never taken to them the way some people do.)

When I was a kid we had mice but the resolution of the abacus screen really sucked back then :p

Heh.

Don't think I'm trying to pull age here. I'm not all that old. I just used out-dated computers when I was growing up.

And I'm one of those people that doesn't seem to adapt to change all that well. My way is good enough, damnit, who cares about those new fangled ways?

I totally agree Torley.... Hey that sounded cool.. :) Anyways, don't go Cat. If you do, they win. But I think this thread deserves five of my relivant quotes. They certinly fit whats going on here on this thread thats for sure.....

"Always look out for number one, but be careful not to step in number two" - Rodney Dangerfield

"Money won't buy happiness, but it will pay the salaries of a large research team to study the problem." - Bill Vaughan

"A difference of opinion is what makes horse racing and missionaries" - Will Rogers

"Talking with a man is like trying to saddle a cow. You work like hell, but what's the point." - Gladys Upham

"Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it." - Unknown

Don't leave Cat, but if you deside to, then I wish you well in all your endevors......

Peace...........

I'll be purchasing thick skins and passing them out as gifts as soon as they are completed.
Amazing to me how some folks can pass around hate and disparity without blinking an eye. But go and insert a bit of humour and you get rode out of town on a log.

This is ridiculous. Ask anyone that truly knows me and they will tell you this was meant in jest that I fail to find any feeling hurting capacity in. Cynyical, sarcastic, desensitized by hypocrisy yes; mean far from it.
Love you all, mean it ! Yes even you too Cat, hope you do figure out what you want out of SL without letting the man get you down.
