I enjoyed reading about your RL jobs. Now I would like to hear about your dream jobs. Thanks for entertaining me at my boring RL job.

One where I get to do a little of whatever I want and join in other peoples projects whenever I feel like it, involves travelling all over the world and having plenty of time off. Makes lots of cash :P

Park Ranger in the rockies - with my own cabin - year round and snowed-in during winters - I could have a horse and s couple of dogs - a cat, a connected PC to relay information ;) oh and a WMD for those occasional gnarly experiences.

Linden Labs employee :)

I mean I am a professional User Interface engineer for a Silicon Valley startup, who loves to play PC games. So what better job than to do what I know for a company like LL!

Phil, you listening? I live nearby and know my stuff...coding, Photoshop, 3D modeling/animation, I've even worked in TV/Film :)

Dream job... being rich..filthy rich.

I mean just look at the lifestyles of the filthy rich.. the rich who are so rich they never even have to worry about their great grandchildren ever working.

They don't even have to work at being indolent. That would take effort.. The Hilton sisters are a case in point. Paris had nothing better to do than to spend however many weeks it was doing a "reality show" making fun of us/herself as a filthy rich girl exploring the lifestyle of those who are merely mortal economically.

I want the job of being so rich that the Treasury asks ME to borrow money someday. Being that rich, LL-type endeavors would be my toys to invest in, buy, exploit and then watch either come to fruition or fail. I'd throw money at such things as Rutan's and/or Branson's silliness of selling 10-15 minute "space rides" to other filthy rich people.

You see? It takes work to be filthy rich - you have to work hard to top yourself each day. The fantastic things available to the filthy rich and not to mere mortals jade those who can afford them and the extraordinary becomes mundane. Throw me in that briar patch.

Or.. I could see myself being a ski bum. It''s a flip of a coin which has more appeal to me as a dream job.

If I had the choice of moolah and genius level intelligence or no moolah and average level intelligence (all other things being equal), I'd pick the money.
If I had the choice of moolah and average intelligence or no moolah and genius level intelligence (all other things being equal), I'd still pick the money.
If I had the choice of moolah and below average intelligence or no moolah and genius level intelligence (all other things being equal), I'd still pick the money. (what would I care what other people thought (of me/my intelligence.. I'd still be filthy rich)).
If I had the choice of moolah and truly low intelligence or no moolah and genius level intelligence (all other things being equal), I'd still pick the money. )I might not have a clue that I wasn't smarter but I could still be happier than a pig in shit.

And an ear-chewing, wife-beater who's also very homophobic which could be a sign that he is a deeply-closeted homosexual.

I'm just guessing on that last part though. ;)

Las Vegas high roller with some unimaginable bankroll that lets me drop $1k a hand and not even blink an eye ;) Even if I could count cards perfectly I'm stuck on the dollar tables forever lol

Something achievable? Probably LL employee, working on lighting, physics, voice, "lag issues" and anything else that I wish they'd ever actually fix/improve.
