Aasim Market Place and Punany Club Closing.

I would like to personal congratulate you on your arriving child. It must be something really special. When RL calls you need to do what you need to do. I am very sad to see The Punany Club and Aasmin market place go though. It was a home to me. I met some of the best and brightness in SL from there. It was only until I found the Punany club that I really felt welcome to SL. Schwanson was the first to let me DJ in SL and I will never forget that. I am truly saddened by how much I am going to miss the countless hours of fun messing around in Aasim.

I would also like to thank you for allowing me the PRIVILEGE of closing out Punany with a bang. Its going to be a wild event and I hope to see everyone there tomorrow night.


And so I propose at toast, to Schwanson's new child and a happy RL and SL future. CHEERS!

Aasim was one of the few retail sims done *right*. I didn't feel like I was going to have a lag-attack every time I tele'd there. Let us know what you choose to do....and congrats on the pending arrival!!

I only recently got a store set up there, but it was a good experience. I'm looking forward to whatever you have in store for us next

I'll leave the t-shirt vendors in place for tonight, and after that maybe put them up for sale - maybe stick an insanely high price on it, and tout them as 'get your own piece of lost SL memoriabilia!'. Or some other rot like that.

In the meantime folks...anyone going to the celebration tonight, grab a copy of the t-shirts, they may not be around much longer.

Aasim was my home, the 6th floor was mine and Armani's; I've never lived anywhere else. The marketplace was like my personal shopping center (as some of you vendors may know - hahahaha). Thank you so much for bringing me kicking and screaming out of my shell and giving me an amazing place to live and work. There was never a dull moment and when one threatened, you were there to kill it fast.

To all the wonderful people I was so fortunate to meet - love you all and hope to keep seeing you around.

Just want to tell Aasim operators that not everyone live on the forums.

I myself use it only for script reading and script posting and some other minor things.
For me, giving out info an IMs is a better way of informing everyone.
I never got any information about this closedown, until my stuff just *poofed*.

Someone told me: "but, havent you been reading the news about it on the forum".
It kinda makes me wounder, did you guys only post on the forum about this? didnt you IM your members about this, or was i the only one that somehow did not get the message?
