After alot of deliberation, I have decided to close the Aasim Market place and the Punany Club.

I apologize to all of the merchants there for the inconvenience that this will surely cause you. I thank you all for your patronge and friendship. I will be refunding all rent on saturday. I ask that anything you do not want returned, you come and get today or friday.
Other than the fact that we are closing, if you have any issues please IM me and I will do my best to resolve those issues so as you can leave happy. I will be doing another bigger project like this in the future, and hope you will all consider joining me on that one.

The closure is not due to any issues that we have been experiencing in SL. It has nothing to do with the emergence of web commerce in SL. I am not tiering down, contrarily, I am looking for MORE island sims. I am NOT selling off Aasim.

The reason I came to this decission is because of RL time concerns. My RL wife is going to have a baby within 8 weeks. I will not have the time to run a mall and club in SL. We are currently in "nesting" mode and are devoting alot of time to preparing for our latest Schlegel.

The project itself was a total success. It was very fun, lag free, attractive, and profitable. It was however extremely time consuming, and I am out of time. If anyone is considering a similar project I would be more than happy to discuss your project and offer any tips I may have.

As far as The Punany Club, I do not see that being gone too long. It will be back at a new location soon enough. The new incarnation will be bigger and better. I just can not say when and where.

We will be holding one last farewell party tommorow night at the club. DJ DJ will be spinning tunes as well as hosting a name that movie contest. At the end of the night we will make the club physical and unlink it. Most of the stores will be gone so I think we stand a good chance at the sim being able to hold 80+ avatars for the party. Come on out and say good bye you freaks!!!

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who helped make Aasim such a great place. I can not express in words how good it makes me feel to have so many good friends here in SL.
