Me and my friends banned from SL

Earlier today, my Brother, myself, my two best friends and my sister were banned from Second Life for no reason. I got back from holiday and my brother had to inform me that i had been perma-banned from my favourite game, and what's more no one knows why. Non of the people who play Second Life on my computer recieved any e-mail or in-game contact from the lindens, and can't remember doing anything against the rules. Now, i think this is totally unnaceptable but so far the Lindens are not replying to any of my e-mails and i am getting frustrated, i've had to leave the few people and zillions of "awsome shit" i had amassed to call my own in second life and the linden's won't even justify their actions with a response.
I've clearly had by IP address blocked, which means no one on my network can access SL and the Lindens just bumped off about 6 loyal customers, for my sister and one of my friends that was their first two days in secondlife.
Is this allowed? Can the Lindens just ban people with no explanation?
*linden's, please let me back on, my brother and sister might stop visiting me now due to the harsh harsh memories of their bannings from second life, then i will cry and wet my pants*
Ok, it seems i've found the problem, my M@d Scripter brother apparently made a sim-nuker and a group of battle (grief) droids, i do hope the lindens have mercy on me

This is easy to sort out.

Clamp the testicles of everyone with access to your PC while you were on holiday in a vice, and find out what they really did when you were gone. The explanation will rapidly reveal itself

Give them until monday to respond to your emails. They need the usual daytime staff to handle it.

If you've done _nothing_ wrong, I think it will be resolved.

The original poster probly didnt realize that everyone on the forums root for people to be banned. They want the game to themselves. Ooops I said it was a game, damn now im gonna get attacked.

To the original poster. Posting here that you were banned will just get a buncha people saying you deserved it. But I believe you! Lindins dont check server logs so your SOL for now.

They already think they have it to themselves. Notice how every account created less than six months ago is called an alt. There are never any new players; it's as if they believe no sane person would want to join a game with such a lame established playerbase. And maybe they have a point.

I've never seen an online environment whose success depended crucially on expanding where people are so hostile to newbies. Probably the best thing LL could do for SL is kill the forums and make these drama llamas go spend some time actually playing the game. Oops I called it a game oh shi

Sorry to here bout the whole thing Sammy, seems like more of this is happening and there's not much of a response from the Ls. Pretty f*ed up I must admit. Kinda hard to be a loyal fan when you jump in and get banned 2 days later, eh. Man I'm almost as scared to go back into SL as I am to drive certain places at night with my windows down so the Man can see I'm black and jump on me There's more stories every day of peeps getting banned without reason, or at least explaination from big brother L. Of course there's always two sides but if you don't show up to court and explain why you did something to someone, hmmm, don't your case get tossed?

no, i hope he stays banned and i get unbanned, i think having him watch me play and enjoy myself will be enough to shut him up. He is 18 surprisingly, but he is a tennis player so that's why he is such an idiot. All people who play tennis come on secondlife and script annoying items.

I agree. Someone so new should not already be jaded to the General forum, but recent goings-on have made me wonder whether I should even bother looking anymore. I obviously would be ill-advised to get on all the olbies' bad sides, but it seems like to post anything contrary to popular opinion gets you flamed and mocked. And I just don't think that's a healthy way for -any- community to exist.

But, since I can't change anything, I guess I will just have to stop looking here. It's kind of sad, though, because all of the fair-minded, non-pack-mentality folks will have one less ally. And the forums will have one less person with actual sense.

But hey, they want it that way, so who am I to argue. I'm just a lowly n00b.
