SO! I go away for a year due to having 2 discs removed from my lower back and a fusion of the vertebrae. Bout a year to recover from such nonsense. ugh! But.. Im back in SL again and it really blows my mind how so much has changed and yet SO much is still the same! Server downtimes this morning.. ugh! So in the interim I come to read the forums... Still the same old blah blah about morality in a VIRTUAL world. WHAT GIVES? On the one hand it never ceases to amaze me that certain people feel the need to drag real world thoughts, opinions, emotions, and even "perceived rights" into a virtual world. On the other it never ceases to amaze me that there are people online that act like Keyboard Cowboys with their anonymity. They say, do, and act online in ways that would pretty much get their heads caved in... if they were in the same room with you. Oddly I might be accused of such from time to time, but rest assured if I say or do it online, I would have said and done those things in the same room with you  Those factoids duly noted, I ask you... What do I need to see, learn, and do in my first week back to catch up on SL? Catch me up on the great advancements in SL! What did I miss? |

There are sooooo many sim that you will get lost, real easy.
Audio streaming on land is cool. Great for clubs ect..
Custom anims are fun too.
I would list places but... They are ever changing and there are too many

I totally agree with Lecktor. What everyone needs to do is we need to unite and ignore these losers. Nora and Rita are just losers and that is what they want us to do. SO let's not give them the satisfaction and they will eventually go away and keep living their sad miserable loser lives. |

You ARE being annoying for the sole purpose of being annoying.
Is your goal to annoy people by arbitrarily posting nonsense on threads and driving them away from the forums altogether?
For the record, this post began as a serious inquiry into what I may have missed during my absence. It appears to be that your goal was to sidetrack the thread and deveiate it from its course? If that were not your goal, it was the result of your actions.

Clubs went and go, and so did malls, and the wheel goes on... I polled some friends a while ago about what they liked most in SL that are NOT malls or Clubs. So here comes a list: VERY TOP SIMS: * Backstage and Nowall (A 2-Sim Island, Rated G) If you haven't been there... GO NOW! You owe it to yourself to see how creative SL can really be. Half of the fun of being there is the surprise, so no hint . * Krittania I haven't been thyere, but by the same team as the 2 sims above. Heaven and hell theme. All the people I've sent to Backstage told me I should see this other one. * Gypsy Moon A place of sheer poetry, lagoons, dophins and whales you can ride, hidden caves... TOP SHOPS: * Nephelaine's Pixel Dolls (Rated PG) The best clothes in SL - To me at least. A fantastic design for the shop itself. And very good MEN clothes too, which is rare. Just outside the shop, you'll find a vendor selling a towel to wear coming out of the shower, also from Nephelaine, for 1L$ . * PM's shop in Innu (Rated R/XXX) Phil Murdock delivers the best sex anims in SL. If you like that, or if you're just curious, see his anim mega-mall in Innu. Contrary to all the places listed above, NOT a place to show your children .
