Brilliant project!

Does anyone have a project that they need land for? Something so brilliant that you would put into play if you had vast stretches of land to do so? Well seeing how i only log on maybe once a week if anyone has any project they think would be a asset to the sl community and need a sim to do it just shoot me an im =)

Well, Darklife was looking for land... Jesus, billy, you bought a whole sim for 2000 and you are paying 200 a month to just let it sit around doing nothing. That kind of money would pay for all my college expenses for the next 2 or 3 years dude

Why not talk things over with the people who own the DarkLife sim, then see if the Lindens can't move your sim next to theirs? I'm sure that two sims is better than one when it comes to games and such.

my sim isnt a private sim its on the main grid.

I think a cemetary for folks that leave SL would be a good idea. With headstones - a little witty saying. And then when they return, we can remove the date of their departure!

OR we could add a 'born again ' date. I am kidding... sort of... but its actually not a bad idea. People could buy plots or monuments or whatever. If someone leaves and a user wants to see information about them - well it will be like a stroll in the cemetary!

Plus we could sneak in and drink!

Someday, if you become a private sim owner, and don't mind, I would love to put together a new kind of RPG in Second Life--I've been dreaming/thinking about it for over a year and I'm convinced it'd be an awesome success. Main grid might be a little funky for use, though, but I think it's cool that you're providing this much land to people!

Hi, billy and I had a chat, and while we would LOVE to build a DL module on yet another sim we are having a hard enough time filling Navora. Come look at our progress so far if you like

Once Navora is done and the game is set up we may take on another sim. I wonder if Lindens could drag it next door

Someone suggested the gay community take it over and make there gay themed sim.

What exactly would be "gay themed"? I have alot of gay friends and they are no different than you or I... how insulting..

you have misunderstood read the previous gay themed sim thread. When one says gay themed they mean, gay club gay hang out spots and such just for gay people. I guess gay groups in sl is insulting to you also because they are gay themed and aimed towards gay people.

Something that welcomes gay people or a club for gays is not insulting... that is no different than an all girls club or whatever... having a club is also one thing.. but "gay themed"?
There is a big difference in comparison Billy. You have never done anything with your island since you got it anyways, why not sell it? Even giving it away would be of more use and save your money..

And YES it is your right to have an empty sim, but you post about the damn thing every week, even get people involved just to back out or start over... it gets old... take it to the classifieds if you do not want this thread open for discussion.

None of the information you are saying is factual. I have never got people involved then backed out or started over. And i dont post this weekly.. very very far from it. considering before this i have been away from sl for some time. You get old starting fights with people. Please take it to the classifieds or anywhere else but here if you want to be negative and say false things. You do not know the events that take place in ones secondlife so please see your way out of this conversation and stop acting as if you know something know one else does. Also i am done responding to your banter so go ahead we know you crave the last word so the next thing you say will be consequence free!
