Foolish Frost here. Just Thought it would be proper to give greetings on the forum before diving head first into some of the discussions around here. (Self Replicating NanoScanners? Tringo Fever? The evils of the "Land Barons"? Whew!) I tripped over this place when looking for information on Virtual Reality, and decided that it sounded interesting. After a couple of days research, including looking at reviews and fansites, I decided to give it a trial run. It took mere hours to decide I love this place! If any of you are d20 Role-Playing-Gamers, you may know me as TheFool1972. I own and run Ancient Awakenings Publications, a small publishing house that makes and sells d20 RPG material in PDF and print format. I'm a writer of fiction (that's professional liar to you), and a professional book layout artist as well. I have over twenty years experience with computer, going back to when the Commadore Vic-20 was 'cool', and a home computer had 4 kilobytes of memory. I have worked in several programming languages and scripting systems, and have begun learning SL script. So far, I can make sparkles, sounds, and colors while working with click-triggers. Hey, I've got to start somewhere! Finally, I'm also a bit of a 3d artist, and understand more than a bit about modeling, animating, and texturing. I am now getting up to speed on the use of SL's 3d tools. While primitive (get it?), they do get the job done, and can be fun to use too. Anyway, that's it about me for now... I hope to see you all online! Later, Foolish Frost www.ancient-awakenings.comwww.foolsplayground.com

Out of morbid curiosity: Who let this kid have uppers? Nevermind... As a writer, I must now cause you serious harm in the name of grammer nazis everywhere. <pulls out hammer of grammatical correction thought physical abuse> <WHAM!> <puts away hammer of grammatical correction thought physical abuse> I'm very sorry, and I hope we both learned something from this: Bad grammer hurts everyone.

Hmm I may be a fool, but at least I'm not an idiot... Thank God for small blessings. Go talk to the Wizard of Oz, and see if he can hook you up with your soul-mate, the Scarecrow... WAIT! Ah, a muse calls to me! Sung to "Dudly Do-Right of the Highway Patrol", with apology to Ray Stevens"Oh! They call him Sabby Whiplash, But that's not his real name..." "To show his name online, he really should be ashamed..."
"He tries to make the funny, with his poor grammer skills..." "But only sounds like an infant, when he starts on his spiels..."
"His head's hard as bedrock, and his joke is quite old..."
"This Sabby Whiplash left me feeling quite cold..." (And just in case you don't get it Sabby: no hard feelings. I don't offer lyrics to every troll I meet.)

But the resolution still sucked, right Anjelle?
Yes, I think I remember your name. I've only been to two bingo's, so far... I would have been the greyhair at either one...

From: Buster Peel Don't worry, you'll see. Now you see: You're being obtuse. That's a bad thing. Don't make me chastise you for information. I would like it, and you... Would not... Or perhaps you would... In which case I would stop... Unless you were faking... In which case I would not... What were we talking about again? Oh Right! Huh?

From: Foolish Frost Now you see: You're being obtuse. That's a bad thing. Naw, I'm just entertaining the trolls. Ok noob, I'll let you in on the best kept secret in SL. There's this resident named Anshe Chung. Seems everybody has an opinion about her, and one of the first things you need to figure out is which side of the Anshe Chung controversy you are going to come down on. Now, Anshe apparently recently obtained a grammar checker for herself, so her more recent posts might be bearable for you. So to get you started, go read this: /120/f8/38359/1.htmlBetween what's there and what's between the lines, I think you'll get the picture. Let me know if there is anything else you need explained, I'll be happy to help. Buster
