Well, invisibility is tempting, but mind-reading is just too damn useful. To hell with flight;reading minds, I'd be rich enough to fly everywhere in my own private jet, and be warned in case the pilot "irished" up his/her coffee that morning.
Then I could get Famke Janssen to teach at my new school for the gifted. Hope I won't need a wheelchair though. |

Invisibility is useless if its not implemented right. Is it just you that is invisible, or does your body emit a cloaking field that makes whatever that field envelopes invisible? Either way, its not very good.
If your body is invisible, everything you eat is visible through your invisible guts. The whole world gets to see your digestive processes! They see everything, from cheeseburger to steaming turd! Even worse, you have to remain naked all the time. Its fun on a sunny warm day, but let the temperature drop and you become The Incredible Floating Parka. On the other hand, the invisibility field is no better. You do get to eat in total privacy, and you can wear that way expensive North Face jacket you have when it gets cold. Its almost perfect, except unlike Naked Invisible Guy, you can't sit or get too close to people. In a matter of speaking, people can't see you, but they see your invisibility. Back to the topic I want the power to shoot 4 inch steel nails from my hands like a nailgun. There is just so much fun you can have with that power! It would never get boring.  _____________________

Seriously though, the power to sense honesty/deception in communication just by focusing on a target, no matter the distance (so it includes face-to-face conversation, telephone, IM, etc). Think about how awesome that would be (just for me, though. You don't get to know if I'm bullshitting you or not ). |
