Ok..so you suddenly, through mutation, accident, or gift, recieve a super power in Real Life. Only one power and it's yours for life. Which would you want.

i want the power that everything i eat tastes like chocolate. yeah not much for crime fighting but i'm selfish.

I want the power of flight...that way I could get to work on time.

Id like to be invisible that would be so cool. Of course it would only be used for good

I want to be able to change into a rainbow colored Lemur but that wasn't an option. Who wants to just be able to change into a stupid humanoid shape?

Me too - but then I realized that there are just some things I don't ever want to know.

For example, I could have gone my entire life without ever learning what felching was and been perfectly happy.

I enjoy Talen's wit (among others) but I would never, ever want to be able to read his mind.

I had this discussion at work, and someone chose the ability to hear ppls thoughts read minds etc..

BUT do you hear/read constantly if so please refer to the Buffy episode where this happens to her and she goes stark raving mad and has to drink goo yes GOO to get well again..

I would think you'd have to look at a person and use a bit of concentration to hear their thoughts. Otherwise, as you said, you'd go bonkers.

But it would be great for crime fighting, as long as you could resist reading the thoughtds of loved ones.

I opted to not put Mind Control down..as that would be a bit too powerful.

anyway, I have the perfect mechanism for dealing with constantly hearing peoples thoughts... I'm ADD, I can tune anything out .

You don't need to be ADD for that. Just get married, and it'll evolve within a couple of years.

Pretending that you have more of a hearing problem than you actually do works well too. Just ask my husband, he does it all the time.

Well..as fun as kicking bad guys ases would be, and a great way to keep in shape, I chose invisibility, because I wouldn't need to fight then. I could just club them over the head or whatever. Plus invisibility has other uses..such as aquiring goods, spying on women...err..bad guys...and avoiding in-laws.

Quickly clears his mind except for the chant, "Aimee has a big BRAIN...Aimee has a big BRAIN.."
