As far as I know, everything should be okay now. Doug is staying online for a little while longer to look for anything subtly wrong.
It appears that one of our backup processes caused the database to lock at aroun 0320 PDT (1120 GMT), which resulted in many systems failing (like login, many in game systems, and parts of the website). The database is current humming along fine, and things appear to have recovered. Sorry to the UKers for the inconvenience; going back to bed now. |

... or is it just my system? Since installing Half Life 2, nothing seems to work properly, so I don't know whether the problem is sl or me. Sure, just rub it in that you have Half Life 2. I am still back on Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Halo 2, with not nearly enough sessions of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. My god, too many amazing games all at once.  Don't even get me started on World of Warcraft._____________________

It took over seven hours to install, and still crashes every time I try to play it. Most of the problems are due to the unbelievably complicated and *stupid* copy protection system. I'm never going to buy a Sierra game again. _____________________
